8. in what ways are they different when they're regressed? do aspects of their personality or interests change at all? are they similar to how they were when they were an actual kid, or completely different?
tim is the most similar to how he really was as an actual kid! generally pretty happy and chill, talkative and curious. the biggest difference is that he’s wayyy more clingy and anxious about being alone, which he doesn’t usually worry about while big.
for dick— he’s way way way quieter and sneakier when he’s small haha. if he gets in the right mood he can be rambunctious and energetic like he was as an actual kid, but in my head most of his regression is involuntary and not very happy, so he’s usually losing speech a bit and comes across as more sullen or sad. basically i think small dickie would remind bruce a lot of how he acted when he first took dick in after his parents’ fall 😅
for jason— he is so so different!! to me jason is a baby regressor through and through, so he changes a lot from his usual tough guy “red hood” persona haha. he keeps a few of his interests though, for example he still likes books and being read to!
11. do they fall into any 'regressor stereotypes' (baby talk, loving disney movies, liking pastels, etc.), or do they diverge from the 'norm' (liking horror media, regressing to an older age, etc.)?
for tim— i think he does do a bit of baby talk sometimes, like not babbling but mixing up his words slightly or not having the best handwriting. idk if it counts as “older” but i picture him in the 5-9ish range usually! i think he would like most disney movies too if you could get him to sit still for them :]
for dick— unless he’s lost speech, he does whatever the opposite of baby talk is haha. you think you’re talking to a small little guy and he hits you with a full no-hesitation monologue with perfect grammar about whatever villain of the week he’s been tracking down. he’s really good at masking skdhjs 👍 as for other stereotypes..i think he’d like stuffed animals a lot, and other similar soft things :]
14. what kind of snacks/drinks do they gravitate towards when regressed? do they use a sippy cup or bottle? how about those little divider plates/trays?
tim wants his comfort foods only, Or Else. he’s very fussy abt texture and being sticky/messy while small. i think he’d be a big juice and cookies kind of kid for his snacks, maybe fruit slices or yogurt occasionally? and i think he’d like having those cute matching sets of plates and silverware and sippy cups!
i think dick is comforted by circus food, like popcorn, cotton candy, fried donuts, corn dogs etc etc. like he doesn’t always eat it (he wasn’t usually eating it back when he was a circus performer either, it was what the audience ate) but he still really likes making popcorn or something similar for that nostalgic scent :] in reality though most of the time he ends up just grabbing handfuls of dry cereal or whatever he has on hand haha
for jason— ok so because of his background, i think he’d be the kind of person (even when big) to always have food on him and keep a big stash of nonperishable stuff in his closet too. but when he’s small he’s not very independent so he mostly wants softer stuff like milk, tea, yogurt, oatmeal etc. small jason absolutely loves having a bottle <3 (don’t tell him that when he’s big tho, he’ll never recover from the embarrassment lol)
