The 50's PI Gang in "Secrets Exposed!".
I'm gonna cry he actually kept some of the stuff from when he was with his old team. ;_;
No I'm not gonna post all my fanfic-related drawings as their own, but I felt that it was worth it to post my two drawings of @beatleswings 's vision about Navarro's parents as their own post, also because I never showed the first one in colors until right now.
First is a family-frame-like shot. I improvised kid Navarro's design. Background is a garage-door of Navarros repairs. This was my first time so I experimented my new colors, needless to say I like the second one better because it fits more with the models.
Second drawing is the parents (9 years after the first drawing) discussing Willard and Navarro together. Gaby's personnal headcanons is that while they tolerated Willard, they didn't really understand why Navarro accepted a friend like him back then, and it kinda worries them. So I went with that + Chibi Willard ftw
Anyway, thanks again for letting me use these ''ocs'' :D
Mary: Why do you do it? Willard: Power.
What result it is when a guy with too much energy on small-time screen characters of an obscure show and free time gets his writing side on the loose?
Butterfly effect, a Phantom Investigators fanfic
Synopsis: In a lot of situations, questions we can ask ourselves is:
-What if an element who could've gone otherwise would have changed the consequences?
-Can we really know a person's deepest feelings based on only what we got told in the heat of the moment?
As a tense situation reminds Professor Navarro of his past, his students will discover during the telling of a lost case that their group and Navarro's group share more connexions than they first believed!

Huge thanks to @beatleswings for letting me use her OCs of Navarro's parents for this story (and helped me write their dialogue). Sometimes a collaboration helps more than simply just doing your own interpretations for the sake of difference. :)
Warning: While it's not necessary to have seen the whole series, be aware that I've never been this close to the source material's lore than this story, so some lore spoilers from episodes has to be expected, specially one in particular (other than secrets exposed) .....but I'm keeping the surprise. ;) .
It's easy to interpret a story based on what the audience knows.
In the heat of the moment, when one representating a group speaks about any related story to anyone, some could often think he's speaking unanimously, for all of the group.
And as such, the audience interprets the group involved in the story as a single entity: to have more chance to fit their ideals!
....Then again, circumstances can alleviate the way of telling a story:
-The shame the storyteller can feel
-If the other members included are still around
-The time left before a catastrophe happens
....Weird circumstances you say? ....Well....when you're in my situation, what can you do?
Personally, the third circumstances were what drove me to put what happened about my past in a nutshell...
....After all, he was on the loose.
However, as I see one of my students: my friend's granddaughter, now leading a team, raw nerves, about to do an error of judgement...
...An error reminding me of what happened when I went with that same mentality.
I won't let it spiral out of control this time.
It may be time to sit down, take a big break...and taking the time needed to tell them more about how that situation went down for me...for my whole team...
....and the painful truth that everyone makes mistakes.
