So for your AU, would Bonnie be looping with Siffrin? And if they are, how would Loop react to that? Also, is Loop from the canon SA timeline, or 'this' AU?

Mainly because Loop would crash hard if they learned they became Bonnie's big sibling.

bonnie is, in fact, NOT looping along with siffrin!! siffrin is alone and sloooowly getting more and more detached to their sibling. teehee !

Hello! Had a very weird crossover question to ask you, given your knowledge of Cookie Run Kingdom and In Stars and Time.

If White Lilly Cookie was to be suddenly isekai'd to Vaugarde during Mirabelle's quest, how do you think first interactions would go between her and the party? Also, how big do you imagine WL would become after said isekai-ing? Same smol cookie size, or suddenly normal human/"witch" sized?

i think its most fun if lilys suddenly like. generally people passing. you can do fun things with small sized characters but also the many generally people-sized sadnesses would not. exactly be easy for a cookie to handle i fear.

but for like... interactions. i think shed probably be of immediate interest to odile? which works out because i also think odile is the one shed get along with best. both because white lily is generally very intelligent and also because shes old as dirt. not that cookie ages are very consistent but the ancients are literally called ancient. lmao.

as for first interactions. hm. she is very smart and skilled and has some pretty solid survival skills, but she's entirely out of her depth. she knows humans to be witches, knows the face of man as the face of god. so shed be. understandably very warry of mira and the party i think?

something something. the party makes their way to a town abandoned because of the kings curse. the freezing hasnt reached here, but it will soon. strong sadnesses lurk around each corner. theyre strong enough to defeat them individually, but not the number wears them down. they get ready to run away in hopes to protect themselves when the sadness looming over them is enveloped by... a flower bud? not like any craft any of them have ever seen. the bud explodes, leaving the sadness defeated. they look around for the person who helped but cant find them!

she tails them for a while after that. which i assume siffrin would probably be the one to notice. the party is just as warry of her as she is of them when shes called out, but she did protect them with her weird craft. she introduces herself as a cookie. she mentions the 'licorice beasts' theyve been fighting. everyone is terribly confused but they do like. tell her about the quest. yadda yadda PARTY MEMBER GET! weird old lady.

also i think she and siffrin would have a lot to talk about. not that either of them would ever actually talk about their feelings without just like So Much pushing thats like both of their whole deals. the self sacrificerssssss.

Sick idea about Odile's main antagonist. Takes ideas from Professor Harvey from Octopath 2 and Yvom and Lucua from 1.

Mainly, her mother leaving Odile behind partly because she is being chased by her own parents, who achived longevity and power from dark wish craft related to the cult, and want her for "greater plot related reasons". How "evil" Odile's mother actually is is up to you. But at the very least, the grandparents represents a relationship that doesn't care about anyone other than themselves, and cpmpletely destroyes, compared to Odile and her own mom, who struggle with connecting with one another due to abandonment.

Very interesting idea.

Hey Basil, got an AU idea that I had in my brain for a while and wanted your two cents on it.

The AU where Sif becomes aware he's a video game character in an old-ass game called "Saviors of Vaugarde" and every time they speak to the Head House Maidien, the game resets, because it's 'over'. Instead of Loop, they gain the ability to speak to YOU, the player.

"Loop" is an avatar for the player to communicate with Sif.

Oh. And worst ending has Sif use Wish Craft to enter the player's world... only to be overwhelmed by the colors. And be as small as normal.

i think this is a neat idea! not anything i have like a lot of thoughts about but i think it could be really interesting. characters becoming aware of the world they exist in is always something to play around with!

maybe im biased, but i do think itd be more interesting if siffrin was unable to enter the players world personally? but thats just a me thing, nothing you have to adhere to. its your au, im just some guy on the internet. i think itd be neat to take things from a more cosmic horror angle (this is again a product of me being biased i think) of siffrin being forced into awareness about things that exist in the players world. maybe they suddenly begin to see colours, which causes issues because their game runs in black and white by proxy of its engine (like a game boy or an old arcade game using a SUPER limited colour palette).

its fucked up to suddenly be aware of things you physically cannot process. in a game where the ending is set but, say, siffrin always remembers. and you can keep talking to them through proxy of loop. this awareness maybe starts to break the game down. until it starts to break down entirely. maybe an act give equivalent could be you as the player guiding the party through the house that is trying to run on half the code it should be, repeating rooms and failing to load areas. until they make it to the top and the game crashes before coming back up on something bigfrin-esque.

or do something similar with siffrin being booted to the real world! im not your boss.

This isn't an anti-honesty game question (I am being sincer about this)

If a fanfiction about a Madoka x ISaT crossover where one party was dropped into the other's world, which do you think would be more intreging? The Quintent in Dormont, or the Saviors in Kamihama? Also, Sif and Homura are both aware of each others looping and fun times occur from that fact.

awawa like i mentioned i havent admittedly finished all of madoka. i fear. (i WILL get to it eventually. there is just a curse on my brain) but from what i remember i think. dropping the saviors of vaugarde into madokas world wold be REALLY REALLY interesting. in part because of how important colour symbolism is?? and. like if the saviors cant see colour how thatd intersect with things.

and also because i think reverse isekais are always fun. put that traveler from a world that doesnt have Computers into a significantly more modern setting im sure thatll be fine and good forever heart emoji.

and also... ough to homuras loops and siffrins loops happen simultaneously? does one loop back if the other does or is their flow of time different despite both mutually existing in and aware of looping time? because thats REALLY fun considering how much longer homuras loops are. but either way i always think the 'i know what you are' of two timeloopers interacting is a blast :}

Weirdly, in relation to the Mal Du Pays asks, do you imagine the party fighting a sentiant Favour Tree? For whatever reason (cultists, Sadness, Wishcraft gone rouge)?

I can imagine that as a optional for a mid-level area. Could probably have some weird gimmick. Probably has a divine weapon hidden behind it

Given the true nature of Siffrin's loop powers in canon was due to the "incorrect" wishing methods of all of Vaugarde wishing for salvation from the King, do you see any of the characters faces a mass of Wish Craft/wises in any form, either personified or by itself?

Wish craft is mainly kept secret by the higher-ups in the Country, but there are some rumors that seeped out into Vaugrade (most of them aren't entirely correct though). And while not yet set in stone, wish craft may play a role in the Cult's actions behind the scene.

At the start of the story, though, the amount of Vaugardians wishing is not anywhere close to the level it is in ISAT. Mainly, because the petrification disease and uptick in Sadnesses is not as obvious or widely spread yet.

The main group of people who would be wishing is the Cult, but whether or not they are doing it correctly or not has yet to be decided.

All this being said, Wish Craft is a very important part of Loop's story and will be central to their plot.
