THUMP There it was again. Lately the boy had felt confused and in all honestly, lost. It seemed like everyone was disappearing and the collar from corporate slavery grew a little tighter. THUMP. THUMP. Days like today, I struggle to answer Why did you get out of bed? The only answer I can come up with it 'I didn't even think I had a choice.' The mouth opened to scream but noise wouldn't emanate from it. Red eyes leered from the sudden gap in the walk that wasn't there a moment ago. In one clawed hand it held a mini keg and the other, tacos. 'Bro, why did you skip that wedding yesterday?' The monster asked in earnest. 'H-h-how did you name about that?' The boy stammered. I know what you know, for the most part. But I don't always know why you do or don't do things. It was then I realized the monster was wearing a Nirvana shirt, full of holes. I didn't go to the wedding because weddings...scare and depress me. It's a union,a celebration of two families, two people.
