i feel like william likes holding your hand during penetrative sex, and half the time, it isn’t even a conscious decision to thread his fingers through yours. it’s kinda like a reflex. he strikes me as someone who’s secretly sentimental, and that’s his own little way of displaying his feelings for you bc when he’s balls-deep inside you, his brain has a tendency to stall a little and his words start to fail him. although, he’s actually able to maintain his self-control pretty well when he has an incentive to remain sharp, like if you acted out earlier and he’s administering your punishment. but, when it’s a moment of passion when both of you are just able to enjoy feeling each other and concentrate on pleasing each other, he lets his focus slip more than he usually would.
also, william is so cute bc he’ll be smiling softly while grading his students’ tests, and the whole time his brain is doing the mental equivalent of kicking his feet and twirling the telephone cord around his finger bc he’s thinking about how lovely you looked teaching him about your hobby the last time you spoke. he adores talking to you, regardless of whether it’s an enlightening back-and-forth conversation or a one-sided information dump where one of you just listens. in situations involving the latter, he’s usually the one doing the listening (unless it’s an opportunity for him to show off a little). he enjoys absorbing information about you and your life, and what better way to do it than to listen?
