Luke took this picture after their daughter joined him and Eky at a bar for the first time. Despite what you might think of the picture, she was having an amazing time and by the time she can drink she WILL be a 21 year regular that knows everyone there by name because what else do you expect when you give a 26&27 year old a baby? Because they have attachment issues so OBVIOUSLY she’s going to come with them and the team to celebrate, they can’t just leave her home alone, she’ll be sad. It’s not like she’s drinking anything other than her milk, and she’s got her game ear protectors with her if she gets fussy from the noise, but that girl will sleep ANYWHERE, so I think she’ll be alright.

Eky being conflicted about the trade because yes, he’s closer to Luke and it’s going to be absolutely amazing playing him more often (and he’s not on a team with Tk****k). But he’s leaving. His hockey family, all of his friends, the team that drafted him, that he was the start of the rebuild of. He’s leaving it all behind without any say in the matter and it hurts.
