Bells or windchimes (in the garden)? Also what is your favorite herb for magic?
I like fennel and rosemary myself but rose petals and basil are top class too.
Oh windchimes! I have so many good memories of that sound from my younger years. It's something that always soothed me and reminded me to relax. One of these days, I'll get a set now that I actually have a garden to put them in.
Favorite herb varies by the week. Usually it's whatever's just been harvested, since I tend to make use of what's most readily available. Rosemary and basil are frequent fliers, as are clover, bay leaf, and plantain. Most of my other steadies are spices, including ginger, allspice, cinnamon, and pepper. And of course, my old standbys, oak and willow bark.
