Illustrating this took some time! The stunning Williamsburg Saving Bank was built just before the Great Depression in 1929 and remained one of very few skyscrapers in Brooklyn until the recent boom. It's now called One Hanson Place and was redeveloped into.. luxury condos! 🥁 Oh and the cab is 1926 Checker! It's one of around 200 illustrations, which will make it to my NYC book I'm working on.
