idk cause im trying to think of what else could be 'one of the most shocking moments in television' and nothing comes to mind other than killing your main character by throwing him into a pit of snakes omfg

yea i was thinking about that, cause bjorn, sigurd, ivar? and i think 2 other sons of his avenge his death so they are all grown up/old enough when ragnar dies

if they are sticking to some aspects of the story and are gonna have the sons avenge him, they would have to fast forward time to make the other ones older, and sigurd is just a baby so skipping that much time to make him older wouldnt work especially for other characters

but then again they could just have bjorn do so? (possibly have lagertha, floki, rollo, etc too)

cause there are details in vikings that arent correct like i think bjorn is actually ragnar and aslaugs kid but when it comes down to it, the show does really good on keeping as much detail from the stories as possible so that could mean that they wont kill him off (or at least this early)
