Hardcore Mofungo heads have it all, of course, even a stashed-away copy of the End of the World cassette or the “Lemmings” 7″, but those who slept while lostnow.org faded away and with it the free download of a whole last/lost album are missing some gems, including this indoctrination jingle from the proposed cult of Mr. Klein. Hopefully somehow the url will be revived eventually...
Mofungo "Wage Slave"
Playing a single show in NYC this season, this coming Sunday night in Queens. Escape By Ostrich are an excellent band with Willie Klein and Chris Nelson (my great friends for decades, from Mofungo and more...), Bob Bannister and Robert Dennis (only slightly shorter friendships with these two ex-Fire in the Kitchen and more, incl.
