The elegant Shearer has been photographed by Willinger to promote her 1938-39 film efforts Marie Antoinette and Idiot’s Delight. The portrait bears his ink stamp of "Please credit MGM PHOTO by WILLINGER 9115" as well as the "NORMA SHEARER Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer" ink stamp on the verso.
