So I just started watching The Handmaid's Tale.
1. They hung a gay man. 2. This poor, innocent, abducted woman has to endure being raped just because she's fertile. 3. They killed the first introduced black character (or at least one of the most important black female protagonists) 4. They shame a woman for getting raped. Saying it's her fault and humiliating her but keeping her apart of the community but they do let the women beat a man who has raped in the community. The victim should never be shunned, humiliated or told it's her/his fault. I was surprised to see that they actually let the women beat up a (male) rapist.
