Since Neinheart is from Rien he has grown up with snow/ice. Do you think he knows how to ice skate? And if he does is he actually good at it or is he an uncoordinated disaster?

(so what happened was I wrote the tags and then committed to drawing this after I finished the tags so it only makes sense if u read it :,D)

I think this is probably expected of me but because I enjoy bullying neinheart too much I instinctively want him to be terrible and gross at anything physically demanding 😌

But this is also a little backed because iirc Rien doesn’t have that much frozen water? There’s a lot of snow for sure and there’s that giant block of ice that maha’s frozen in (and Rienna Strait of course) but otherwise there’s not really a frozen body of water 🧐 (unless there’s something to the left of Rien but I don’t think I’ve ever went in that direction D:)

and theoretically, because he spent a lot of time studying the empress’ bloodline, I would like to believe he’s somewhat of an inactive shut in 😌 (that being said, this is a completely biased hc because of the type of person I am and there’s a perfectly good argument for neinheart being active as well but I also choose to believe in the scrapped ‘ice archmage’ idea as an explanation for this which I could write an entirely new, additional essay on but will spare you the trouble :D)

in short: I think despite his background he would be terrible at ice skating (or anything dexterous really) and it would be really funny if we put him on ice >:)
