I also wanto to talk about Willow on a podcast! But... I feel like I'm too embarassed, like what if one of the actors hears it lol
I think one of the most meaningful things you can do is to embrace your awkwardness and share your joy. There's absolutely nothing embarrassing about that.
You ever think about the strain of hosting BFB and what that did to him??? He planned every single challenge all by himself with no help up until X was found in fries. And you saw what that did to him! He was overworked, tired, losing that taste, and just plain out of it. How much was he holding that back??? Episode 6, 7, and 8 he was doing fine, he was calm and enthusiastic and absolutely ready for it all, but by episode 9 he was practically a zombie at that rate!!! What the hell didn’t he tell anyone??? What did he write in that journal that have Loser reading material for months and months and months??? What emotions did he withheld, what breakdowns did he have where no one saw, what tears smudged the pages so much that he had to color-code his diary???
REAL!!! REAL REAL REAL!!! AND EVEN AFTERWARDS HE’S SO COMPASSIONATE AND SWEET. HE’S SO KIND TO BARFBAG AND HIS OTHER FRIENDS AS WELL. HE WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND WEIRD IN BFDIA BUT I THINK ONCE THINGS STARTED GETTING BAD FOR HIM, HE REALLY TURNED AROUND. DONUT APPRECIATION TIME.
Hello yes may I storm into your ask box to propose this? The original reason Willow had cameras installed everywhere was during a rush of rebellion/hope to compile evidence that her husband was clearly abusive to try and get her and her children away from him safely. Only to realize that it would never work considering the tight grip Mr. Schnee has on the family. Willow most likely has years worth of video evidence of the abuse she and her children have suffered through on standby.
Of course you may, I'm always happy to hear from you guys!
And yes, absolutely, she's probably got years of evidence piled up. I think that was one of the few things she knew how to do or could actually do. That was probably at the end of her rope at the time and couldn't figure out what else to do to protect herself and her children, not anymore
I also think it's a protective measure for herself in case she ever had to actually defend herself against him. She says "In case I ever had to--" when she tells Weiss about it. So maybe she did it also to have proof that she hurt or killed her husband in self defense
The only thing that really clear is that that man is a monster who had his family so completely under his thumb that his wife couldn't think of anything to do other than putting cameras in every room of the house
Like...imagine being that desperate and tired...
YOU’RE 5’1??? YOU’RE SO TINY!!!
Yup! I’m small.
I just got fucking stuck by this thought hear me out: Willow undoes Watts’ damage, she had cameras set up throughout her entire house and her husband either doesn’t care or more likely, never noticed. Who’s to say she isn’t a master with technology? Or just pretty good? Give her the proper tools for the job and she could help out a lot! Wouldn’t that be amazing?!
That would definitely be amazing, though I doubt she's got the energy to do that.
She put the cameras up what sounds like ages ago and never did anything with them until Weiss came snooping.
And she couldn't hack into Jacques's computer either so while she might have a knack for information gathering, maybe she even has a knack for technology, she never did anything to cultivate that so her going up against Watts, who wrote the damn code in Mantle, is unfortunately a beautiful dream
