Something a little different today! I recently finished my first ooak faceup! I made my Inquisitor from Dragon Age, Willow. I still have 4 rhinestones left if anyone wants their own custom inquisitor doll. They’d be a bit costly, but idk what else to do with the rhinestones lol.
I’ll be openening the commissions on my ko-fi later this week.
Willow honestly didn't think she should be doing this. Her instincts told her this was all a bad idea. Yet, as she prepared herself in her room, she couldn't help but think maybe this would work.
The Hero of Fereldan, Feril Surana, and the Champion of Kirkwall, Garrett Hawke, had both come to skyhold in the hopes of assisting with the defeat of Corypheus. Inquisitor Willow Lavellan had asked Feril for her expertise against the Darkspawn and Hawke for his against templars, lyrium, and his connection to someone possessed with a demon; that last part was for personal reasons.
They were readying to go on a mission in the Hissing Wastes to find the source of the Red Templars red lyrium. The Hissing Wastes had many of the corrupted bastards and Darkspawn. Willow absolutely despised that place and never spent much time there. However, they were close to striking a blow to Corypheus' army. Not to mention all the magical anomolies that Solas would be gushing over.
A plan was laid out. Hopefully nothing would go wrong.
The Inquisitor heard her door open and footsteps approach on the steps to her room. She was still looking at papers on her desk, but her ears perked listening as the newcomer approached her.
The newcomer wrapped their arms around Willow's waist which surprised the elf, until she saw his face kiss her neck.
"Cullen," she whispered, smiling as she let go of the papers and reached up to his cheek.
The commander smiled as his head rested on her shoulder.
"What are you doing up here?" she asked.
"What? Cannot I not say goodbye before you leave?" he asked, looking at her.
Willow turned around so she could prop herself on her desk. It was much smaller than the commander's in his tower, but even still, Willow remembered what happened on that desk and damn near blushed everytime she was near one. "I'm only going to be gone for two weeks," Willow said, wrapping her arms around Cullen's neck.
"Two weeks, too long," Cullen groaned, brushing his lips against hers. She smiled underneath him before they broke apart.
"You can last that long. At least Sera and Varric will be with me so you won't have to worry about them bothering you," she teased, lightly punching his shoulder.
Cullen rolled his eyes. "The only fortunate thing about this trip, I assure you."
"You're such a baby."
"Hey!" Cullen feigned offense but was immediately silenced with another kiss. Cullen didn't want to stop, but Willow pushed him back a little.
"Ma vhenan," Willow whispered, the Dalish phrase beautiful in her voice.
Cullen smiled and placed his forehead on hers. "You still never told me what that means."
Willow smiled. "Maybe I never will."
Cullen pulled back and pursed his lips.
"Or maybe when I get back, I'll tell you."
"Oh-ho when you get back, that first day, no one will be seeing you. When you get back, you'll be all mine and I don't care what anyone says. I want a day alone with you.
"You're so needy," Willow chuckled.
"Only for the vitals," Cullen winked.
Willow rolled her eyes and pushed the commander away. It was almost time to go. Cullen's eyes fell. He didn't want her to go. The Anchor on the Inquistor's hand flared up, the Fade green illuminating Willow's face. The green in her eyes also flared up, mixing into the blue. She frowned at her hand.
"What's wrong with it?" Cullen asked, grabbing her hand.
The Anchor quieted, and the flare went away along with the green in her eyes. "I think it reacted to the person who just entered Skyhold," Willow replied. She was for certain that was the case because her own little demon reacted.
Anders was here.
Willow shook her head and Cullen released her hand. "It's nearly time to go," she whispered. Cullen nodded and the two headed down into the courtyard.
Varric, Sera, Solas, Dorian, the Iron Bull, Feril, Hawke, and Anders were all seated around a firepit and chatting. Dorian was sitting in Bull's lap as the two talked while Sera was messing with Solas. Anders and Feril were talking amongst themselves and Hawke and Varric were playing a game of cards.
"Such a large party for this mission," the commander pointed out.
Willow nodded her head. "For many reasons," she added. "Hawke. Anders, and Solas are going to help us with the lyrium and Fade issue. Feril is going to help with the Darkspawn. And Varric, Sera, Dorian, and Bull...well, they're my team." Willow smiled at the scene before her. This was her family. She loved all of them dearly.
"At least I know you all will be safe," Cullen sighed.
Willow turned to him and placed a hand on his cheek. "We'll be fine, hun." She kissed him once more. "Ar lath, ma vhenan."
Willow chuckled as Cullen frowned. "Again, still haven't told me what that means."
"I'm surprised you never asked Solas."
"I was...I've been..." Cullen stammered.
"Busy? Embarrassed?" Willow teased.
Cullen's lips thinned and he glared at her which just made her laugh.
"Figure it out, my sweet lion," Willow patted the commander's cheek before heading to her team.
She clapped her hands and everyone looked at her. She smiled at her friends and they smiled back, even Solas!
"Alright guys, you know the plan. We are going into unfamiliar territory and will be facing Darkspawn, red templars, demons, and maybe, most likely, some Vints. We've all dealt with things like this before. Our mission here is to stop the unusual flow of Darkspawn and destroy a major Tevinter outpost of red lyrium. Oh, and close some Fade rifts along the way. Thank you Feril Surana Garrett Hawke for assisting us with this mission. I am very thankful that you both have decided to join us." Willow finished her speech and nodded her head towards the Hero and Champion. The both nodded back. "If there are no more questions and everyone is ready, let's head out."
---
The next day and the party had made it to the Hissing Wastes. Willow, Feril, and Hawke were in the lead whilst everyone else was behind. This place was unfamiliar territory to Hawke and Feril, but not to Willow. However, Willow had never actually been to this area. She had only walked it in dreams. As a mage, that was basically the same thing as actually going to the area, but for some reason, it was different. Eerie to her. The small demon inside her fidgeted and shied away into the darkest corners. Willow was relieved at that at least.
Anders had moved his way up the party and squeezed himself between Willow and Hawke. "Um, Inquisitor?" Anders spoke, his voice timid and quiet.
"Please, just call me Willow."
"Right. Er, Willow. Hawke and Varric told me about your conditon. About Anethema." Willow eyed the young mage. "And I assume they told you of mine."
Willow nodded. "Although you did not name yours did you?" Willow asked.
Anders shooks his head. "Justice seemed to suffice."
"Justice does have a nice ring to it, unlike rage."
Anders nodded in agreement. "Indeed. Either way, I was wondering, does she... is she hiding right now?"
Willow nodded. "She's in a corner right now. I don't think she'll try to come out and take me over anytime soon."
"That's what I thought. Justice is doing the same. I don't like this place. This place isn't normal."
Willow clicked her tongue. "And with that, I totally agree." She held her hand out and the party stopped. She turned to everyone and look for Solas. "Solas, what can you tell me? This area, it seems different. More different than anything we've dealt with."
Solas nodded his head. "I know this place. There is a disturbance here. I believe our objective lies ahead over the ridge." Solas closed his eyes. Willow could feel the other elf's magic radiate. When he opened his eyes, green faded away quickly and his eyes went back to normal. Willow knew he was using his Fade magic. Even more so when her hand and Anchor flared up again. "The Veil is thin." All the mages in the group nodded. Willow felt it deeply in her soul. The Anchor stung a little but nothing she wasn't used to.
"Well, the doohickey is thin," Sera piped up. "Who cares? Who needs an arrow in their eye?"
Bull grunted. "Yeah I don't mainly care for all this Fade stuff. Just find me the nearest demon and I'll kill it."
"I'm a dwarf," Varric added. "I don't do magic."
Solas rolled his eyes. "Just follow me, I know the area." Solas took the lead and everyone else followed behind him.
"What's up with that one?" Feril whispered to Willow.
Willow shrugged her shoulders. "Dunno. He's an odd one. Not Dalish nor a city elf. Has been a wanderer all his life apparently."
"There's something I don't like about him... about this place."
The Anchor flared up again, sending a spark of pain through her arm. Willow hissed as she stopped and clenched her fist. Varric put a hand on her back.
"You good?" the dwarf asked. Willow nodded her head but cried out as the Anchor flared up again, bigger and more furious this time. Willow fell to her knees in the sand. The rage demon within her cried out.
"Something's wrong," Dorian called, looking around. Hawke and Anders pulled out there staves, magic swirling around their free hands. Sera pulled out her bow and an arrow. Bull kneeled next to Willow.
"If you need, I can carry ya, boss," the Qunari offered. Willow shook her head, tears coming to the surface. Her arm burned now.
"What's going on?" Feril shouted. It took a moment for Willow to realize the Hero was shouting at Solas who was stranding on the edge of the ridge, solid as a wall.
Varric left Willow into Bull's care and went to see what had made Solas stiff. Varric couldn't believe what he saw. "Andraste's tits."
Bull helped Willow up and the frail elf leaned against him as he guided her to where everyone else began crowding. The sight before them made everyone rigid.
"What the fuck is that?!" Willow managed to grit out.
In the large area before them, a giant creature stepped out of a Fade rift. It was as large as a red templar behemoth but more disgusting looking. Red lyrium jutted out of the creature and Fade magic swirled around it. Demon forms oozed in and out of the main structure of the body.
Feril's nose scrunched up in disgust. "Whatever that thing is, Darkspawn is all over it."
Then the creature roared and it was as if Thedas was broken into two. As if the Veil shattered then and there. Willow screamed with the creature as her hand was consumed by the Anchor, her entire body now burning. The Fade rift that the creature had stepped out of was growing larger and larger.
"Alright Chuckles, you said you know the area, know this place, tell us what the HELL is going on!" Varric yelled. Willow had not heard her short friend ever angry. But now he sounded pissed.
Solas turned to everyone and his eyes were glazed over with silver. "You will not remember this moment. The mission was a success. You should not have seen this."
"What do ya mean?" Sera asked, confusion written across her face.
Solas looked at her and she immediately fell to the sand. Dorian looked at her and then to Solas. "What was that?!" the Tevinter demanded. He fell too.
Bull glared at Solas. "The fuck?!" before he collapsed as well. Anders fell next, then Hawke, then Feril and Varric, before it was just Solas and Willow.
Willow's entire body shook and burned as Solas kneeled before her. "This was not supposed to happen. I did not know what would happen here. Don't worry. Corypheus does not have an advantage." Solas grabbed Willow's hand. The burning slowly began to ease.
Willow looked up at Solas. "You...better explain...yourself," Willow grunted out.
Solas shook his head. "No. I won't. This place...it is important to me."
Solas squeezed Willow's hand and for a brief moment, she saw into his mind.
"Fen'harel."
Solas's eyes widened and the last thing the Inquisitor saw before she passed out was the Dread Wolf's silver eyes staring down into her soul.

What happens when you’re too lazy to make an actual plot? Just throw a cliffhanger in, fuck it. Feril and Willow are both my characters I made in Origins and Inquisition respectively. Garrett is the default Hawke (just with blue eyes). I didn’t know where I was going with this so I just said fuck and yeeted myself off a cliff.
Got this out of the way so I can prepare for Day 3!
I’ve heard rumors that Cullen is going to supposedly be a playable character in the new Dragon Age. It’s most likely not true, but I would love for that to be true. Like, new headcanon:
After Lavellan lost her arm, she stayed Inquisitor, but kind of took on Cullen’s role as a Commander as he has to take on her other duties since she was handicapped.
Maker, I need to talk to someone about Dragon Age.
WIP UPDATE. Sorry for not posting my progress sooner, but this piece has been proving to be very time-consuming. I felt like I had screwed it up, so I also didn't want anyone to see it. I think I can save it now, but we'll have to see.
