"In the Land of the Leviathan, on a crystalline beach, there once was an abandoned residence, its long-deceased occupants the second Leviathan and their family.
New life was breathed into it three years ago, the culprits two childhood friends. This is the tale of Leviathan’s Rest and its new residents." - a report on the news from the Land of the Tiger
"Welcome, dear guest! We at Leviathan’s Rest hope your stay with us will prove most relaxing."
The doors open for you on their own accord, the air is warm - a little salty from the seabreeze - and a colorful group of people welcomes you. The anniversary celebrations can finally start.
“We hope you enjoy yourself to the fullest, and that, whether you came here as a guest or as a potential employee, you find your stay at the Rest to be unforgettable.”

What is Leviathan’s Rest?
Leviathan’s Rest is the name of the story and universe a lot of my OCs are from, because calling it “the Guardians’ Plane” didn’t have the same vibe to it. It’s also the hotel that Lucy convinced Liz to found three years ago. Being a hotel, this place sees its share of interesting individuals, and some may even decide to take up a room for an indefinite amount of time, effectively moving in. Who knows, one of them might be you. You can find the main cast of the hotel itself here for now :D
Setting:
Other than that each land has a different vibe going on, clothing-wise (it’s really only about the colors, since how much temperature effectively affects a character depends on their race - for example, it takes a lot for a fire spirit to get cold, given that their insides are burning like lava, so even if a fire spirit were to be born in the Land of the Caribou, which is really cold, they wouldn’t cover up as much as most locals).
This story is mainly set in the Guardians’ Plane, a world where any fantastical being you could think of most likely exists. In this Plane there are four main countries a.k.a Lands: The Land of the Caribou (North), The Land of the Lion (East), The Land of the Tiger (West) and The Land of the Leviathan (South). You can find a bit more about the Lands and the Guardians on this post.
On the topic of weather, the Land of the Leviathan is pretty warm, the hotel is on a beach after all, the Land of the Lion is hot as hell, the Land of the Tiger is mostly hills and mountains but they're fairly warm, and the Land of the Caribou is, as previously stated, COLD. More will be added in the future.
Can I interact/join?
Of course! Lucy would be more than happy to have a room set up for you or your OCs! More and diverse people inhabiting the hotel is just the breath of fresh air Lucy believes the Land needs! That and she loves meeting new people!
A few notes!
As for where each of these 8 characters is from:
Land of the Leviathan: Minerva
Land of the Caribou: Renart
Land of the Lion: Almos, Lucy, Liz
Land of the Tiger: Jean Paul
Shinju and Willow are not listed anywhere because their lore is a bit different :D
If you have any questions, feel free to ask :D
edit: removed the color thing because of vibes
The characters are, of course, open for asks :D <3
MORE CHARACTERS FOR LEVIATHAN'S REST AS I WORK ON THE INTRO COMIC :DDDD
THIS TIME, THE HOTEL'S MAIN CAST (yes, you're only getting the closest thing to a ref sheet I made of them for now 😌😌😌😌😌)
starting of course with Lucy and Liz, who own the hotel;
and then with the previous and the current front desk people, Willow and Shinju;
the lady who oversees the menu and mans the bar, Minerva; Jean Paul, the guy fresh out of college who is trying to learn how to run a successful hotel from Lucy and Liz;
and the guys in charge of decorating and organizing events, Almos and Renart
Miasma is a mass at the core of the Guardians’ Plane. It comes from Primordial Miasma, which disappeared almost completely a thousand years ago.
It erupts from the cracks in the ground at the edge of each of the four lands.
Its goal is to create a living being worthy of hosting what remains of the Primordial Miasma, and to do so it mimics living beings by assimilating them like a parasite of sorts.
Thanks to the first Guardian Beasts repelling the First Great Wave of Primordial Miasma where the lands converge, the Miasma is now only able to mimic one characteristic, which changes depending on the land it erupts from.
In the east, it mimics warmth.
In the south, it mimics voices.
In the west, it mimics the mind.
In the north, it mimics strength.
And fusing together, almost complete beings are born, like Willow, Crystal and Meg.
