After almost coughing her lung out Maia groaned and snuggled deeper into her blanket. How could she have possibly gotten sick. She's Asgardian for crying out loud she shouldn't be able to get sick. There was knock at her door. "Come in!" She called out and proceeded to cough again. "Hey." Said disks as he came in. "Dick what are you doing here?" She asks as she adjusts herself in the couch. "Annabella told me you got sick. She sent me over with the soup she said she was going to make for you. And to tell you she's sorry she couldn't come herself since Bruce asked her to help him with making the medicine for you." Dick explained as he placed the container on her coffee table along with a blue gift bag. "Oh, did she now." Maia was so going to murder her when she got better. "So what's in the bag?" Dick smiled as he handed it to her. Maia slowly took the bag and peeked inside, she let out a small gasp. "Oh my god I thought I lost him." She said as she pulled out the small Pegasus plush from the bag. "Yeah I found it in a box of stuff I had that I was holding for your mother. I figured it would be a nice pick me up. And I thought we could watch the movie while we wait for them to bring you medicine." Dick smiled at her and Maia hated how her heart fluttered. "Yeah sounds good." She hugged the plush close to her and played with its little wings. As Dick set up the movie Maia quickly texted her friend before swiping a glance at his butt. I know what you're doing and you are so dead. You'd miss me too much. Have fun! Maia groaned and Dick turned around. "You okay?" "Yeah my chest just hurts a bit." Said Maia as she rubbed her chest. Dick sat next to her and handed her the soup. "Here this will make you feel a bit better." "Thanks." Maia mumbled as she carefully ate. Yeah she couldn't kill her friend she'd miss her cooking too much. Halfway through the movie Maia noticed Dick look at his phone. He nervously shifted before clearing his throat. "Hey Maia?" "Yeah?" "When you start to feel better would you maybe like to go out?" Dick asked nervously and Maia smiled. "Sure I'd love to." She said and they went back to watching the movie. "You do know your sister planned this, right?" "Yup. Although I doubt she planned you getting sick." "You sure about that because after eating the soup I feel a lot better." "Hmmm how would you feel if our first date involved getting back at my sister?" "It sounds wonderful. Let's go."
