Savasana means 'corpse pose' ... We practice dying to the moment so that we can become reborn, every new moment. It is also probably my favorite pose , AND the most important! .:. It is so necessary to rest and integrate, for releasing every last bit of tension in the body so that we can be filled with the love and light of pure Spirit. I always make sure to give my students 5-10 minutes of savasana, hands-on adjustments, and bathe them in song medicine during this time. Please don't forget to give yourself this gift of relaxation!
