Time Management
Time management is key to college success and success in the real world after college. A few tips I could use for a successful college career is to determine whether I'm an owl or a rooster. I am a rooster which mean I can focus and I'm at my best early in the day, not at 6am more like 9am and beyond. My latest class id like to have may be at 5pm. Im more focused at after I've had been awake for an hour or two, if feels good and I get more attentive after being awake for a while. I wish I had as much time in high school to wake up like I do now. I have not failed yet so something must be working.
Doing my homework on time. So far I've done my homework just barely on time for some of my classes. Haven't missed an assignment and I don't plan on doing so. Doing my homework on time can help because it will give me more time to study for a test or quiz, more social time with friends, and more time to check my work over to make sure its perfect. I am getting better and the assignments are getting easier, I just have to sit down and read it calmly and start it at that moment.
Divide and conquer. I haven't had a big project or paper yet but when the time comes ill be ready because I will use this tip to divide large works into manageable chunks so when the due date comes I’ll be done and the project or paper will look organized and presentable, not rushed and sloppy. This tip can really lift the tress from your shoulders. For example people who receive a large project with a close due date they tend to freak out and don't know what to do, but if they refer to this tip all they need is a deep breath and divide it into parts, as many parts as they need to reach their objective. Then when the day come they've freaked out over nothing and they get the good grade.
NEW YEAR EXPERIENCE #5: Visit Dizzy's Jazz Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center!
What an amazing performance of Willy P students! The food was good, the company was great, and the music was amazing. What better way to spend a Tuesday night? I can definitely say for certain that I will be returning to Dizzy's in the future; that's my kind of place!
