that’s a good question. i’ve counted every single rooster in my mother-in-law’s house and it’s something like 466. i’m autistic tho so i can’t speak for if this is a common occurrence or not

trying to count all the chickens in the house would be an entirely different project because there are some rooms in the house i really don’t like going in, and then there are tons of them outside too, and it’s a three-story house (and they probably have some in the attic that i’ve never been in, plus they have hidden rooms and storage spaces i’ve never been in) and it would probably take me like a month to do this, and i’ve never spent more than a week at their house...
