Sad day today😕 13 years ago I paid for two #trekpaard colts to be brought from the #netherlands #Holland to work in the #wimpoleestate #woodlands which I managed at that time. Unfortunately Bas had to go as he bolted to many times but John stayed on the estate #horselogging right up until I was told I was not to mange the woodlands anymore so for the last three years he has had a lazy time although he also used to prepare the ground for a small area of heritage arable crops Think there are many people going to miss this tank of a horse and I can honestly say it’s been the only proper working horse on the estate all financed and trained out of my own pocket .
