Dean will lose his mind if he sees his little sammy in something like this
You know I don't really remember what happened in "love hurts" but like,,, I was just imagining, what if sam kissed dean to save him and then dean has a little oh moment and like, like,, wait-
--------
Dean hasn't stopped thinking about it. He knows he should, he knows that he should bury these feelings deep down somewhere under all the pain and unwanted memories, he knows he should leave it all behind in a glass of whiskey, but he can't. He simply can't get it out of his head.
It keeps replaying over and over.
The way Sammy grabbed him, pulled him closed and smashed their lips together. It wasn't romantic, of course it wasn't. It wasn't full of love and fireworks didn't go off. It was hasty and done last second to save him, but yet, Dean can't stop thinking about it.
He slowly brings his fingers up to his lips, and he can't help but imagine feeling Sam's soft pink lips against his. He knows he shouldn't, he knows its wrong, but he can't help himself.
He isn't feeling anything romantic for his brother, there's no lust or want, he just sort of, feels. He can feel Sam's lips against his, he can feel Sam's hot breath for a second before he pulled away, he can feel his own heartbeat in his throat, and he feels like he should never mention this to Sam.
His brother has gotten over it, hell, he's acting like it never even happened. But his little brother doesn't understand how much he's torturing Dean. The way he walks around, smiles at Dean, licks his lips, it's making Dean go crazy.
He doesn't love his brother like that, he doesn't.
But he wouldn't mind it.
Day 10: The thing you should not have forgotten
Warning ⚠️: b*l*o*o*d and i*n*j*u*r*y down the cut

John was out.
Drinking or hunting, it didn’t matter.
Sam was on his knees by the crappy little Christmas tree Dean had stolen from a tree lot.
“I just want to have one good Christmas.”
His eyes were shut tight as he prayed.
Dean peeked out of the bathroom and saw his baby brother begging some higher power to give him the Christmas he deserved.
He didn’t feel guilty when he stole John’s wallet late that night.
He didn’t feel guilty when he bought Sam toy trucks and little toy soldiers.
He didn’t feel guilty when he bought Sam a warm coat that actually fit him.
He didn’t feel guilty when Sam snuggled up beside him in the motel bed and whispered, “Thank you, De.”
Welcome 6 Wincestmas
Happy New Year’s Eve! Please enjoy a little sip of champagne, or lil’ drabble of fic.
Sam felt ridiculous, and nervous. This had to be close to the top for stupidest thing he let Dean talk him into. The station had refused to share case files with the FBI without all the proper paperwork. There was no reason they’d share it with a small town cop without the same, but here he stood dressed in one of the brown uniforms from when they’d run a park ranger angle. He fought the urge to fidget while the desk officer looked at his fake I.D. and back at him.
“The Rexford case?”
“Yeah.”
“You’re from Cedar Lake.”
“Yeah.”
The officer looked back at the photo.
“Follow me.” The officer swung the gate open to admit Sam behind the counter. “You can use an interrogation room, but no photocopies. I can send an official copy to your department. Typically takes two days or so.”
"Mhmm.” Sam played it as cool as he could, still shocked the pretext worked.
An hour later, with his phone filled with hasty snapshots, he turned the file back in.
“Well?”
“Uh. Similar, but didn’t match.”
“I’ll still send it?”
“Please.” Sam escaped into the city street before anymore questions could be slung his way.
Down the block and around one corner, Dean waited in the impala, slurping on the last dregs of a fountain soda. Sam slid into the passenger seat.
“Got it.”
“Nice.”
“We’ve got at least two days before Cedar Lake asks why they sent the file.”
Dean put the car in gear, “You make a damn fine policeman.”
“heh. Just get us out of here.”
Dean put his blinker on to merge into traffic, he eyes dragging over Sam in uniform.
“Damn, fine.”
Sam looked up from reviewing the file.
“Want to arrest me?”
“What?”
“I’ve been bad, Sammy. All sorts of crimes. You should definitely cuff me. And frisk me. I have at least three concealed weapons.”
“Stupid.” Sam shook his head, but smiled as he went back to his phone.
**********
I’m smiling too, Sammy... I sure am. (Sorry for the late reblog; I was out getting suitably smashed. As one does. But thank you, and have a glorious New Year, nonnie!)
