So here’s question.

If Flying were to be separated into Flying(encompassing Flying techniques such as Dive Bombing and acrobatic moves such as Acrobatics), Bird(Encompassing Bird qualities like Egging and bird moves such as Brave Bird) and Wind-types(Encompassing air related qualities such as Expanding like a Balloon, and wind based moves such as Air Cutter), what would happen to Flying Egg Group?

Flying Egg Group in its conception was meant to be an all encompassing Egg Group for flying Pokémon, as such it contains Bats, Pterodactyls, Archaeopteryxes and Nazca Line Birds. But if Bird Pokémon get their own type, with Piplup and Torchic, and a bunch of flightless birds presumably being in the type, will we get a Bird Egg Group, with bunch of Flying Egg Groups getting Bird as their secondary Egg Group?

Or, will flightless Birds default to Field?

Conversely, if Mammals got a Beast-type separated from Normal-type, would Field be separated into Field and Mammal Egg Groups? Or would Lizards such as Dunsparce and Helioptile-line would be retconned into Beast-type?
