Hi there. I hope I dont bother you with this kind of question (its not request thou) - How is your progress with MASK STAND/DISPLAY item? Is it a deco or a fuctional stuff? I am curious.🤔😀
Oh god, yes, it is finished. These are a default replacer for, and three recolours of, Kativip's Mask Stall from their LS City set.
NOTE: I overwrote the original mesh's textures because I'm unlikely to use a hyper-realistic, 'gritty' texture in my game. this means you can't have both Kativip's original mask stall and this one in your game at once.
DOWNLOAD (SFS)
I didn't realize I forgot to release it! I think what I wanted to happen was make more recolours of the masks and then I was too damn exhausted to finish.
It's a deco item, but if you pick up @simi-simmer's Grand Delusions Mask Display (which is functional, and looks Cromulent Enough for a medieval game) you can set up a mask vendor with both. :D
I just uploaded a bunch of the mods I've made for my @onthegreatsea Wind Waker HD Sims 2 medieval total conversion project!
Recolours of @blueheavensims ' Meadhall set, Sunni's Room at the Inn, @limonaire 's TS4 Jungle Adventure tapestries, a moon default, ATS2's Mood Soups, walls, floors, nooks, and niches!
Get them on SFS or Mega, or read the PBK thread for more info!
On the other end of the timeline, my Zelda/Wind-Waker-ish game is coming along okay.
I’m still downloading and recolouring aLL THE THINGS, but it’s nice to know that my sims can have most of the necessities of life without me having to break my ~*aesthetic*~.
Moar Wind Waker- this time, a selection of be-yoot-iful pots for your sims to store things in.
Or poop in.
Or yeet off into the sunset while yelling “HYAAAA!”
I don’t judge.
nathanialroyale replied to your photoset “@onthegreatsea ‘s Wind Waker textures in action- applied to some...”
Yah they seem a little flat, sort of like sims medieval textures when brought over sims 2. They lack a certain depth to them??
Yeah! Which, like you said, isn’t a bad thing...
And I mean, the game they’re from looks like this, so. ‘flat’ is a bit of an understatement.
how's the wind waker project going any more updates
Ah. Well. Pretty good, it doesn't seem.
Wildwood died in a giant messy Dropbox-Induiced BFBVFS. After that, I... kind of lost my appetite for Sims stuff. I wanted to fix my mods setup before I started playing again, which meant sorting and organizing everything, and that felt even worse to do than usual because no Wildwood...
And then I fell down a Sims 4 hole, and then I got really into Skyrim for a while, and then I started making a Skyrim follower mod.
...And then I finally saw your message and, well, you gave me tickets to the circus. I'm going to finish and post some of these projects over the weekend- I've got a fun little edit of Sunni's Hanging Critters, some horses and carts from Dragon Quest (deco only, alas), a few posters, And More!
I guess while I'm here I should post some of the other Wind Waker Project CC I've been working on and just... never got around to, huh?
There's uh
There's a lot of it
