Lego Librarian learned that the American Windmill Museum in #lubbock is the largest windmill museum in the world! While it was a tad hot 🥵 it was still a joy to walk around the amazing variety of #windmills The main building was closed on Monday when she got there, so that will have to be a future field trip. The nearby county-side has an abundance of modern wind turbines. Windmill museum, Gifhorn. One of the little day trips that John treated us too was this adorable windmill museum. It was privately owned by a man that loved windmills and their history. He collected many from different countries and brought them to his property in Germany. He actually lives in one of the buildings (not a windmill) on the property while visitors will roam around his back yard. It was a beautiful day.
