Windows Virtual Desktop とは  その4

だらだらと投稿しているWVDシリーズのその4です。

今回は、WVDでキーとなるであろう用語のご紹介です。

■ホストプール 　WVDで一番キモになるところです。 　ホストとなるVMたちの置き場です。

 WVDに限らずクラウド設計の成功は、ペルソナベースのシナリオをいかに描けるかだと思うので WVDも利用(業務形態、シナリオ）シーンに合わせて適切なVM群をまとめるためにホストプールを用意するのが良いと思います。 　 　ホストプール単位でVMの数やサイズを調整していくことになるようなので、 　業務形態、シナリオごとにホストプールを分けるのがベストと考えます。 　それに合わせて同じ単位でリソースグループも作っておいた方がいいと思います。

■モード 　二つあるようです。 　①広域モード 　　パフォーマンスを優先する際に選択するModeのようで、 　　ホストプール全体で均等にユーザーを分散させます。

　②深さモード？多分日本語だと専用とか固定モードかな？ 　　 ユーザーをVM割り当てるようです。      これは設計を事前にゴリゴリしてVMをRI対象にさえできたらとてもコスト削減につながるかなと。

　　 ただ、パフォーマンスは都度スケーリングでVMを調整するようです。 　　　→このスケーリング利用者側かパートナーやメーカーがツールとして用意するか作業でカバーする範囲のようです。 　　　　 PowerShellかAPIが用意されていれば、どうとでもなると思いますけどね。

■マルチセッション 　　WVDの最大の売り。 　　今までServer OSで行われていたOSへのマルチユーザーセッションをWindows 10で実現したもの。 　　それむけの専用OSイメージも用意されており、多分これがWVDの最大の売りです。他のサービスでこのOSは提供されないって現地の人は言ってました。

Not unique to Fujifilm, Windows 10 broke support for USB transfer of images from some cameras to your computer. Fujifilm have released a selection of updates for their cameras to support Windows 10 and restore that capability for anyone running Windows 10. Follow the links below to find updates for your camera. X100S X30 X-E2 X-Pro1 X100T X20 XQ2. Fujifilm will update the X-A2 next month and the other cameras by December.  There is a rumour going round of a major update to the X100S in December, but at the moment that is just a rumour.
