Siri, Google Now, Cortana. Who is better?
We put Siri, Google Now, and Cortana through a marathon of tests and to see who is winning the virtual assistant race. So Apple has Siri, Microsoft has Cortana and Google has the new Google Now. So which one is best for you? Cortana, Siri, and Google Now they all generally do the same thing, but each has its own set of twists that make it unique. Let us look at how they measure up against one another.
Cortana is an intelligent personal assistant created by Microsoft for Windows 10. Cortana is powered by Bing. Cross-platform availability is perhaps Cortana’s biggest appeal. The benefit being a user is able to send a text message from his laptop when he misses a call on his mobile. Google Now is one of the most ambitious evolutions of Google’s search software. Siri’s voice-recognition technology is constantly being refined and hence Siri is the winner of the lot in term of its technology.
Some say, Google’s integration with search engine makes Google Now one of the most useful virtual assistants out of the box. Few say Cortana remains the best virtual assistant available. All the three services are good on factual descriptions. Siri’s programmers have the best sense of humor. Google stays focused on the task at hand and relies a lot on its search engine. And Cortana is quickly catching up with both of them. Siri and Google Now are more consistent and provide a seamless experience than Cortana, which is clearly the youngest of the three. However Google Now is the pick for the best personal assistant. It may lack the personality of the other two but its consistency and accuracy approach that of Siri, while its smartness and activeness is the best.
