Soo, apparently you can’t edit stuff when your windows subscription runs out, I can’t afford to buy one right now. What document editing programs do people use now adays that are free?

I'm just trying to do a Header in Word 2010 with the page numbers and this is was comes up when I try to do the page number:
It tells me to get more page numbers from office . com and then says no content available.
I just want simple fucking page numbers. That's it. I've searched online for a solution, even Microsoft's website for answers and nothing works. Does anyone else have this problem and how do you fix it??? Please. I need to know asap. Thanks.
