Hello my Thought-Bubbles, I said in a previous update that I'd start updating chapters for my Au. This won't be a full chapter, more like a teaser really, school's a bitch, I have exams coming and I need to study. So here is an introduction to Window tale I guess?

You knew about the legend, you knew all about the legend. It was the only thing the others talked about... And it fascinated you. What was so scary about some big pile of rocks? You'd been to it's vast base before and there was literally nothing to be scared of, hell the worst thing you saw was a coyote and it was far more scared of you than you of it...
So why were you always told to stay away from Mt Ebott? Most of the people said it was dangerous, but what made it dangerous? You wanted to find out. With no family or friends to hold you back there was nothing to stop you.
You started towards the mountain that morning, backpack over your shoulders and walking stick in your hands. You planned to spend the day hiking around the mountain, looking for any reason whatsoever to fear the mountain.
You came with doubt of finding anything. The most you found thus far were some pretty interesting sinkholes that seemed to be bottomless, but nothing that would cause nation wide fear of such a place.
You decided to call it a day, the sun was slowly but surly creeping towards the horizon, best get back to town before it set. You didn't hear the snapping of fallen timber until it was to late.
It wasn't coming from above but below.
The weightlessness of falling settled in just before unconsciousness did.

Hello again my Thought-Bubbles. This will... Or it should be just a quick update on my Au Windowtale. I've been thinking about where I want my Au to go and I have decided that I am going to try and write it out as a story, not the most original thing I know but I have no faith in my artwork and I don't think any of you would like to see some shitty scribble of someone who may or may not be W!Sans...
If anyone is interested in seeing anything along the line of a story let me know, I'll probably upload it to my deviant art. And when I get the first chapter I'll toss a link here.

Thoughts On Gaster.
Hello again my Thought-Bubbles! I'm here with my third character sheet and as you can see from the title this one is about good old Gaster. This is pretty much like my other two character sheets, basic background information that overlaps with previous posts, family relations, Soul Eye color, stats and certain abilities Gaster possess due to his unique Soul Eye color.
Now for basic background information: Gaster was 'born' on the surface and lived alongside humans for the majority of his life, he found humans to be interesting and was one of the first Monsters to initiate peaceful contact with one, after the first alliance between humans and Monsters was formed Gaster was enlisted into the army, Gaster's father was a Lieutenant in the Royal army and fully expected Gaster to follow his line of work and enter the army. During training Gaster met Asgore, Gaster was '3' (300 human years) his senior, Gaster and Asgore developed a symbiotic friendship, Asgore being the physically stronger of the two while Gaster specialized in strategy and magic.
Independently or together the two were forces to be reckoned with, however after graduating Gaster immediately left the army to study science while Asgore was brought to the Monster capital to be trained in the ways of royalty. Gaster had no idea that the goat monster he had befriended was the crowned prince until '50' (5000 human) years later when there was a call for a new Royal scientist. Gaster had apprenticed under the old Royal scientist since he got into the science field, he was deemed a protege and was immediately picked up by the Royal scientist. However the title of Royal scientist needed to be approved by the King whom at the time was Asgore.
Asgore and Gaster immediately recognized each other and the title of Royal scientist was passed down to Gaster with no second thoughts, Gaster's work spoke for itself and Asgore already knew Gaster. Monsters and humans were flourishing at this point as both nations worked together to improve their lives. '4' (400 human) years after Gaster became the Royal scientist he became a god-father to King Asgore and Queen Toriels son Asriel. And 8 (800 human) years after becoming Asriel's god-father he watched his charge die.
Asgore and Toriel knew that Gaster would never willingly allow harm to come to their son but the relationship between the three of them was forever strained. '5' (500 human) years after the death of Asriel, Gaster bid the humans he had worked with farewell before retreating to the underground with the rest of Monsters.
Gaster threw himself into his work to help the Monsters now stuck underground. Eons later Gaster was once again asked by Asgore and Toriel to be the god-father of their newly adopted child Chara. Gaster initially declined the position for fear of failing his closest friends again, however after much thought he excepted the position of god-father.
During his time as Chara's god-father, the monarchy was beginning to face severe retaliation from the Monsters, riots and rebellions were forming left and right. Asgore contacted Gaster to discuss counteractive means of defending the kingdom, eventually the two settled on the creation of a functioning human Soul that would be used as a weapon against the mounting rebellion.
Gaster obeyed Asgore's demand and began researching the limited sources available on human Souls he often did small harmless tests on Chara to gain better understandings of the human Soul before he attempted to create a functioning Soul. The first 57 Souls were nonfunctional or dispersed shortly after being removed from their incubators, however the 58th Soul held promise, instead of a human Soul Gaster created a Soul that was neither human nor Monster as it was created using his Soul as a template. It held human and monster Soul characteristics but it was neither, to accommodate the new Soul Gaster attempted to build a body for the Soul using Chara as a template.
Within a week the correct bone structure had formed around the Soul. However instead of continuing on to make a human the growth rate stopped and the newly formed skeleton awoke. The skeletal structure was distinctly human however it bore a Soul Eye, a trait only found in monsters. Further testing proved that the new monster did indeed share other human traits including unnaturally high levels of Determination and other traits as such.
Gaster brought his findings to Asgore, while the new Soul could be used as a weapon he was asked not to destroy the monster. Gaster complied and began to create what he hoped to be a non-sentient Soul. Despite the pseudo success of creating a functional Soul, Gaster was unable to recreate the Soul, making the young monster unique. Eventually Gaster decided to adopt the young monster as his own, he named the young skeleton Papyrus. '4' (400 human) years later Gaster managed to create another Soul, this Soul was much much closer to that of a humans while it still held some traits only found in monsters including the Soul Eye.
However after an attack on the Core, the new Soul was left fragile and weak. Gaster devoted all of his time to the new Soul, often leaving Papyrus alone for weeks at a time. Eventually the Soul managed to stabilize and create a body, this time the Soul's body was much closer to that of a humans, a delicate transparent film of 'flesh' covered the visible bones of the skeleton. Shortly after the stabilization and creation of Sans, Chara passed away.
Immediately after her death her Soul arrived at the core, by reluctant order of the King and Queen, Chara's Soul was to be used to gain more Souls to be used in the civil war that was currently taking place. However Gaster could not, nor could he bring himself to touch the Soul, after spending just shy of a year (100 human years) watching over the human and caring for her Gaster could not bring himself to harm the only remnants of Chara, however his newest assistant Alphys could.
After reviewing her teachers notes Alphys concluded that a human Soul needed to have an organic host in order to properly manifest itself. Alphys decided to use golden flowers as they were plentiful and they reproduced rapidly. Chara's Soul was inserted into a flower and everything Chara once was was transferred into the flower. However Alphys had no idea that the Soul she was dealing with belonged to the King and Queens deceased child.
It wasn't until Gaster recognized the flower to be Chara, he quickly removed his reincarnated charge from Alphys and reunited the human turned flower to her adopted parents. Both parties were ecstatic to be reunited. A week later the Monarchy fell.
Gaster took Papyrus and Sans to the marshlands around Waterfall where the three hid from the rebellion looking to recruit or kill monsters. As Sans was far weaker than his brother Gaster spent more time with Sans to prepare him for the future. '14' (1400 human) years after going into hiding Papyrus abandoned the two of them to join the rebellion. Sans was distraught over the loss of his brother however Gaster remained partly indifferent.
It wasn't until Papyrus returned with the intent of killing both himself and Sans did Gaster realize how dangerous his creation had turned out to be. During his time with Sans he trained him how to conceal his Soul signature which would make it impossible to detect or follow him. After Papyrus returned Gaster ordered Sans to run so he could take care of Papyrus, Sans refused to leave which forced Gaster to teleport Sans away from the fight. After retreating from Papyrus Gaster realized that he had no way to find Sans. Gaster had lost two sons in one night.
Sans blamed Gaster for driving Papyrus away and abandoning him, while Papyrus wanted to reap his Soul Eye for his own purposes. Gaster tried countless times to reconnect with his boys and he was either met with a cold glare or a sharp blade.
That's all I can really give on Gaster's back ground, I think that also covers his relations to Sans and Papyrus. Now onto stats and his Soul Eye.
HP: 50000: Gaster does not carry Soul Eyes, he did however do self experimentation during his time as Royal scientist which gave him not only a health boost but also high resistance to pain.
Def: 5000: Similarly to Sans Gaster uses Gaster Blaster, bone constructs and other forms of magic to reduce or prevent damage.
Atk: 10000: Gaster wields bone constructs infused with his magic to deal massive damage, which is also partly due to self experimentation.
Satk: 25000: Gaster is very good at multitasking, allowing him to use multiple long ranged magic attacks simultaneously.
Magic: N/A: Gaster has no limits on his magic usage.
Speed: 500: Gaster has teleportation capabilities and he has a naturally lithe structurally.
Stealth: 500: Gaster has mastered the art of 'shadowing' an ability that allows the user to practically melt into the shadows to become invisible to the naked eye.
Most of Gaster's stats are directly related to the color of his Soul Eye. Gaster has a unique purple Soul Eye which appears in his left eye, the center of his Soul eye is a light mauve color that bleeds into orchid, violet and ultraviolet. The Soul Eye sits on a black plum base. These colors also tie into Gaster abilities, other than teleportation Gaster also possess...
Soul seal: The ability to seal ones magic imprint making it impossible to locate or follow a monster by following magical residue left behind by them.
Soul sight: The ability to pinpoint a monsters exact location based on their magical imprint.
Shadowing: The ability to become one with the surrounding environment as a form of camouflage.
Soul Leech: The ability to leech off another magic well and absorb attacks.
Soul Reading: The ability to look into an individuals future.
The Soul Reading ability Gaster has is the main reason he never tried to reach out to Papyrus, he saw every available future and no matter what he did Papyrus would find a way to hate him, the same went for Sans. Instead of trying to change the future Gaster took to savoring what little time he would have with his sons.
That's all I can say for that really.
W!Gaster wears a black trench coat, it's frayed beyond repair and the entire right sleeve is missing. Beneath the damaged coat is a now gray turtle neck and dusty 'white' scarf. Gaster wears what used to be black dress pants which are now frayed and torn. Gaster wears a set of high steel-toed boots.
Gaster also sprouts many more cracks, alongside the iconic two cracks running from the top of his right eye to his forehead and the bottom of his left eye down to the corner of his mouth. To put it simply, the only thing holding Gaster's skull together is magic. Let's leave it at that...
Now onto relations:
Asgore: As stated prior Gaster met Asgore on the surface during army training. The two bled off each other in a way, their strengths ans weaknesses balancing each other out. Asgore trusted Gaster with his life and once Asriel was born he trusted Gaster with his son's life too. Even after the death of his son Asgore still considered Gaster to be the most loyal friend he had.
Toriel: While Toriel was never as close to Gaster as Asgore was she could still see how trustworthy Gaster was, Gaster and Toriel developed a close bond based on trust, Toriel trusted Gaster's input and judgment on most subjects which was one of the main things Toriel liked about Gaster. At the time Gaster was an calm, collective monster with a good head on his shoulders and if Asgore had never proposed to her, Toriel would have asked for Gaster's Soul.
Alphys: Alphys was an unexpected presence in Gaster's life, much like him Alphys was a protege. Shortly after meeting Gaster took her under his wing to teach her. Alphys was a soft spoken girl with a love of knowledge and mechanics, which was the main reason Gaster assigned her to experiment on Chara's Soul, if anybody could figure out how a human Soul functioned it was Alphys.
I'll probably add more to Alphys' relationship with Gaster, I feel like I could have gone further but honestly I can't think of anything else right now.
Thoughts On Papyrus.
Hello my Thought-Bubbles! I already did a character sheet for Sans and now for his darling brother Papyrus. This will cover a bit of W!Papyrus' back story, Soul Eye color, other physical differences and his relations to Sans, Gaster and Undyne. if anything is unclear please don't hesitate to talk to me, I'd love to answer any questions regarding my Au.
Now onto back ground information, this will overlap with a few previous posts just so you know. In Windowtale Papyrus is t he older brother, he was created during one of Gaster's experiments regarding the creation of a functioning human Soul, not born. W!Papyrus is '4' (400 human) years older then Sans. W!Papyrus held a special admiration for Gaster, however he never truly saw the man as his father unlike W!Sans, W!Papyrus identified Gaster as his creator and mentor.
However shortly after the Monarchy fell, W!Papyrus' view of Gaster changed drastically. During a rebel attack on the Core, W!Sans' incubator was compromised, forcing Gaster to remove the still fragile Soul. For the next '14' (1400 human) years the vast majority of Gaster's attention was focused on W!Sans as compared to his 'brother' he was as breakable as glass. To combat the problem Gaster spent more time training Sans, consequently putting a divide between himself and W!Papyrus which would eventually tear their makeshift family apart.
During the '14' years of neglect, W!Papyrus and W!Sans were raised by Gaster in the marshes surrounding Waterfall, once W!Papyrus deemed himself 'independent' he abandoned Gaster and Sans to join the rebellion fighting against the remainder of the Monarchy and the royal guard.
He returned to the marshes of Water fall '30' (3000 human) years later to kill Sans and Gaster and harvest their Soul Eyes. However he failed to defeat Gaster and between the two of them Sans was always the stealthier one.
Immediately after Papyrus' attack both Gaster and Sans 'vanished 'from the underground, Sans reappeared periodically but never for long. Gaster on the other hand may as well have been dust on the wind. The disappearance of Sans and Gaster sent Papyrus into a crazed state, he forced himself harder and eventually rose to second in command of the rebellion.
During his time as part of the rebellion, Papyrus took up Soul Hunting. Currently he has well over 300 Soul Eyes at his disposal, as for his own Soul Eye, it is a mix or oranges and reds with no traces of purple unlike Sans. Like all monsters, Papyrus' Soul Eye directly reflect his being. (Read 'Thoughts On Colors' for more information). Papyrus' Soul Eye is situated in his left eye, despite this he is ambidextrous. (He is both dominant left and right).The color of his Soul Eye also reflects his stats.
HP: Varies depending on which Soul Eye's he has on him (Ranges from 5000 to 900500)
Def: Varies depending on which Soul Eye's he has on him, (Ranges between 300 to 900). He does however wear specialized armor and like Sans he can use his magic to construct bone shields.
Atk: Varies depending on which soul Eye's he has on him (Ranges from 5000 to 25000) Since Papyrus was not hindered at birth he is perfectly capable of dealing massive physical damage using his bare hands or a duel edged sword granted to him upon enter the highest levels of the rebellion.
Satk: Varies depending on which Soul Eye's he has on him (Ranges from 50 to 250) Despite being the stronger of the two brothers, Papyrus has very little control over long ranged attacks, summoning bone spikes from the ground is no issue, however detached ranged spells are difficult.
Magic: 590. Papyrus' Soul is moderately stable, however since he has extreme difficulty applying his magic to ranged attacks, he instead utilities his magic through his physical attacks.
Speed: Depending on whether or not Papyrus is wearing his armor. With armor: 50. Without armor: 100. Despite his physical wellness Papyrus is rather slow, relying mostly on immobilizing his foes or preventing them from escaping he sees little to no reason for speed, the only exception being with Sans and Gaster.
Stealth: 25. Papyrus prefers direct confrontation rather than forcing his prey out of hiding, however if needed he can become absolutely silent.
As for physical differences, W!Papyrus. W!Papyrus wears a black turtleneck, the left sleeve reaches all the way to his wrist while the right ends just past his forearm. The remaining right arm is covered in a plated iron armor sleeve while the left is covered with a chain mail like plating used to hold the Soul Eyes Papyrus had gathered. Papyrus wears a medieval like chest plate to guard his rib cage and Soul. He also wears shoulder, knee ans pelvic armor.
His boots and pants are built to sustain damage. Across his back and waist are sword holds, his main weapon other than bone structures is a large double edged broad sword, his other sword is a thin grapple dagger he uses more as a tool than weapon.
Beside wardrobe alterations W!Papyrus has major scaring, a deep gash runs from the top of his head, through his right eye and down to his cheek. The left side of his face fares no better, two claw marks run from his eye brow through his left eye, ending just beyond the cheek bone. While another substantial crack runs directly over his mouth, starting from his chin and ending just beneath his left eye. Various other minor and major scars litter his frame, and Papyrus actively strives to gather more and more as he believes that the bigger the scar the better the story.
Now onto W!Papyrus' relations to other monsters: Specially Sans, Gaster and Undyne.
Gaster: While Gaster did create Papyrus and raise him as his own, Papyrus never saw Gaster as his father, he was the royal scientist as a creator and mentor. However after their 'little' fallout Papyrus began to view Gaster as a rival and a thorn in his side. His one goal in life is to kill Gaster and obtain his Soul Eye.
Sans: Papyrus has an odd sort of connection to Sans, he is instinctively drawn to the younger Skeleton for two reasons, one: Sans is the only living thing Papyrus sees as actual family, two: Sans' and Papyrus' Souls are complementary opposites. During their youth Sans and Papyrus were virtually inseparable, they developed a incredibly strong Soul bond meaning that when in the others presence their Souls could connect and transfer magic between the two, evening out their stats and giving both a dangerous edge in battle.
While Papyrus is drawn to the younger Skeleton he is also repelled by envy, before Sans was created it was just him and Gaster. But when Sans' incubator became compromised, all of Gaster's attention shifted to the frail Skeleton which would have been fine if it weren't for the fact that it never shifted anywhere else, Papyrus became more of an after thought in stead of one of Gaster's 'children'
After joining the rebellion Papyrus figured out how the world worked, the weak were killed to make other strong, and the strong were killed to make the strong, stronger. If you had a problem no one but you could take care of it... And the easiest way to take care of a problem was to kill it...
Undyne: The last remaining member of the fallen Monarchy is Undyne the Ex leader of the 'royal' guard is the one Monster standing between Papyrus and the thrown. She remains loyal to the absent King and Queen and alongside being the head of the guard she co-runs the 'haven' the only safe place for monsters to seek shelter away from the bloodshed of the underground. Papyrus want's nothing more then to find said haven and reap the Soul Eyes.

I said before that I would start doing character sheets for my Au and I decided to start with Sans, because let's face it he is awesome no matter which Au he's tossed into. Now a bit of this will overlap with a few things from my previous updates, but I hope to cover a bit of W!Sans backstory, some physical differences including his Soul Eye color, personality and relationships with other monsters.
First off a bit of background information. As I said before Sans is the younger brother by roughly '4' (400 human) years, he was created in a lab not born and after a rebel attack he was forced from the incubator early and consequently he came out weak. After the Monarchy fell Gaster was forced to take Papyrus and Sans and flee. Sans was raised in the marshes around Waterfall where Gaster taught him to master his magic. (Read 'Third Thoughts' for more background information)
Now physical differences: W!Sans wears a faded, dishevelled, torn blue hoody, its falling apart and caked with dust, despite it's condition he will not switch it for a more practical or intact article of clothing or armour. Similarly he wears a very ripped pair of jeans and worn down shoes, he doesn't mind ditching a pair of pants or shoes.
Various cracks litter his frame including a long crack starting at his nose and ending near his forehead, as the story progresses Sans may aquire more and more cracks and while the cracks no longer hurt him they refuse to heal. W!Sans carries around a sharpened bone he uses as makeshift knife even though he doesn't necessarily need it, he is very in tuned to his magic and he has no problem using said magic for defence or attack.
As for his Soul Eye, W!Sans' Soul Eye is situated in his left eye. It's colors consist of dark borderline navy blue, cerulean blue, aquamarine green, light sky blue and metallic blue with trace amounts of violet on the sclera. The colors of his Soul Eye directly reflect his being, an entire post on what each color represents title 'Thoughts On Colors' can be read to understand.
Also his stats are different.
HP: 110 (Still considered dangerously low in Windowtale)
Def: 225 (W!Sans can summon bones and Gaster Blaster to use for shields)
Atk: 175 (While he is still considered physically weak, he is very skilled with his bone knife and displays no fear in upfront confrontations)
Satk: 550 (Gaster trained him in every means of magical defence and attack and he absorbed it like a sponge)
Magic: 1590 (Despite his weak physical state W!Sans has a remarkably stable Soul)
Stealth: 285: W!Sans was raised to believe that the world wanted him dead, and that the best way to survive was to run and hide)
Speed: 125 (If he needs to W!Sans can be quite light on the feet, however he prefers to teleport to conserve energy rather than run)
Now onto W!Sans relations to other monsters, specifically Gaster and Papyrus:
Gaster: While Gaster did raise Sans since he was a baby-bones, after an accidental fallout Sand turned his back on Gaster. While Gaster constantly wishes to reach out to his son Sans want's nothing to do with Gaster, he could never bring himself to kill his father but he holds no compassion for Gaster.
Papyrus: Sans fears his elder brother on an instinctive level. After Papyrus abandoned Gaster and himself to join the rebellion only to return '3' years later to collect their Soul Eyes. Sans and Gaster were forced to separate, Papyrus had been hunting Sans ever since not only to collect his Soul Eye but to also draw Gaster out of hiding. Sans now has a rational fear of his brother and he will go great distances to avoid his Brother.

Third Thoughts.
Hello again my Thought-Bubbles! I am here with a quick update for my Au. In my last post I said I'd start uploading character sheets, now before I start I through some general background information would be nice. I want to cover a more extensive background story on how the monsters became trapped beneath the surface and events leading up to the main story line in retrospect to the game.
First off a brief history lesson! *Puts on a molecule and fake mustache*
Now I'd like to state this before all else, in my Au monsters are created out of negative emotion. Humans came before monsters and once fear and other negative emotions were established monsters emerged. In an attempts to eliminate fear humans attacked monsters. However once humans realized that fear could never truly be conquered they began to embrace it. This resulted in a long lasting alliance between monsters and humans built on trust and cooperation.
After Seven Millennium, something happened. Just because peace was prominent in the nation did not mean that evil ceased to exist, there were still those who wished to destroy fear.
In order to destroy fear, the humans decided to go for the monsters weakest point, the hope of all monsters. The Prince (Asriel). The Prince was kidnapped (< Get it! Cuz you call a baby goat a Kid!) and murdered in cold blood, his dust and Soul Eye lost.
Despite the loss of their child the King (Asgore) and Queen (Toriel) and every other monster worked hard to repair the damages caused by the humans actions. Peace returned with time and the alliance strengthened by the loss.
Before the death of the Prince, no Soul Eye had ever fallen into a humans hand. After obtaining the Princes Soul Eye, it was sold for the highest price on the black market and for humans greed is like a disease and soon after obtaining the first Soul Eye a demand for the beautiful 'gems' erupted in the black market.
This brought on a profession known as Soul Hunting. Humans worked hard to snuff out Soul Hunting operations but whenever one was taken down, three more sprang up. Fearing for their lives the monsters begged their King to intervene. The decision was made that monsters would seek refuge underground, away from humans to preserve their ways of life in safety. And thus eons of peace and posterity became shadows of the past.
For decades the Monarchy maintained peace within the underground, on rare occasions a human would fall into the realm. For the most part they were just desperate to return to their families on the surface, however on one occasion a band of humans fell into the underground. Upon hearing of a cave which lead to the monsters haven, the group decided to take the risk and venture into the cavern in hopes of collecting as many Soul Eyes to bring back to the surface.
The attack left many families missing certain members. The King and Queen did their best to restore order to the kingdom however their efforts were in vain. A rebellion formed with the intention to overthrow the Monarchy and bring new order to the underground.
Fearing for their lives, the King, Queen and anyone else connected to the Monarchy fled. The King and Queen ran to the oldest part of the underground to hide from the upcoming civil war. The two of them became the caretakers of the ruins, assisting any humans that happened to fall into the underground.
Humans were considered the single most dangerous threat to monster kind, those who managed to capture or better yet kill a human were considered gods as a human soul supplied a monster with unimaginable power. To combat the treat, Soul Hunting became a widespread pandemic. However instead of collecting Soul Eyes for ascetic purposes monsters collected soul Eyes for their magical properties.
When a monster dies their bodies disintegrate into dust and their Soul Eye hardens and shrinks to the size of a marble. The reduced Soul Eye holds everything a monster was in life (HP, defense, attack, magic Etc) all abilities a monster possessed in life would be passed down to whoever came into possession of the Soul Eye.
That sums up the history behind why monsters were sealed underground.
Now for the events leading up to the story line. I don't think I really need to cover the story line, it's pretty much like the cannon, human falls into a world inhabited by monsters and tries to get home by either killing everything in sight or befriending everyone they meet.
As I mentioned in a previous post, Gaster is alive. A practically violent rebellion attack destroyed the Core long before he was able to fall into it. As for the skele-bros, Sans is the younger brother by roughly '4' years (400 human years). Both Sans and Papyrus were created, not born. In the early stages of the rebellion, Asgore tasked Gaster the current royal scientist to create a functioning human soul to assist in wiping out the rebellion.
The first twelve souls were utter failures, however the thirteenth was somewhat successful. Papyrus was the first ever created monster, after various tests the young skeleton deemed stable and ready for life outside the lab. However the young skeleton had formed a attachment to the royal scientist and with little to no resistance Gaster excepted the small skeleton into his life.
Nearly '4' (400 human years) later Gaster produced the second functional soul. However before the soul could fully mature the Core was attacked, years of life work destroyed. Gaster was forced to take what little he could and flee. For the next month the still developing soul phased in and out of life. Sans was born weak, with only one HP and little to no defense. Papyrus loved him the second he opened his eyes.
The three quickly became a family unit. Staying in the castle alongside the King and Queen due to the loss of their one true home the Core. Shortly after the fall of the Core and all power to the underground the castle was breached, forcing all those inside it's walls to flee. Gaster grabbed his two boys and fled to Waterfall one of the few places untouched by the war.
Due to Sans' weakened state Gaster tended to dote over him which often left Papyrus feeling isolated or unwanted. This formed a rift between the once inseparable family which would eventually tear it apart.
At age '14' (1400 human years) Papyrus abandoned his family and joined the rebellion. After the abandonment, Gaster focused his attention on teaching Sans how to survive. Sans' control over his magic increased dramatically however his HP remained dangerously low.
'7' (700 human years) later Papyrus returned to Waterfall with full intentions to murder Gaster and Sans to take their Soul Eyes, during his time away Papyrus took up Soul Hunting, with well over 50 Soul Eyes at his disposal. Gaster forced Sans to flee while he took care of the now rouge monster. Sans obeyed and fled, leaving Gaster and Papyrus to fight. During his time in Waterfall Sans master the art of concealing his Soul meaning that his magic footprint was intractable and impossible to follow. Which meant that Gaster could not find his own son after the separation.
Sans never forgave Gaster for not trying harder to find him, despite his many attempts at contacting Sans. Sans continued to live in and around Waterfall, hiding from others and surviving in general. Gaster went into hiding after Sans rejected his presence. Papyrus steadily climb the ladder of the rebellion hierarchy and became second in command.
If I think of anything else I'll toss up a quick post about it. I'll start throwing up character sheets soon and possible some really bad artwork?
