WiNDOW TWiNS - TREEHOUSE
Window Twins is the collaborative project of Tim Cohen (The Fresh & Onlys, Magic Trick) and Jon Bernson (Exray’s, Ray’s Vast Basement). The two Bay Area musicians are gearing up to drop their sophomore full-length, Wish, on cassette on Oct. 16 via our pals at Crash Symbols. It’s also due out that same day on vinyl via Volar Records. The album is a psychedelic, trippy listen filled with echoing vocals, erratic/inventive percussion, and plenty of dense layers.
Those elements are abundant on standout track “Thunder & Lightning”, which is probably getting plenty of radio play in an alternate universe. Or, you know, any place where people appreciate straight-up good music. Anyway, Lord Tang (aka Dominic Cramp from Evangelista) laced the tune with even more psychedelia and even some dub vibes, making for a dreamy, tripped-out listen that you need to experience for yourself.
