             moonlight streaks silver across the floor of the hospital room; it’s taken fugo relatively little time to track the man down -- he’s lucky enough to still have eyes and ears in the more gossipy pockets of passione. and something as big as a traitor attacking a member of the boss’s inner circle was the word that got around quickly. he’d made it his temporary mission to track risotto nero down and find out everything that his gang had known about the boss -- how he’d gotten so close; anything he could use should he ever figure out how to send information to his ( abandoned ) companions. while hospitals never really sleep, pannacotta finds this room quiet; dark -- and yet he’s not naïve enough to let his guard drop or assume that nero would be asleep. so he stays on one end of the room after the door clicks shut behind him, never once letting wine red eyes move from the man hooked up to softly beeping machines and just barely illuminated in dim, artificial light. 

             ‘ you seem to be doing well, given the circumstances. ’ he greets with a low voice -- no need to confirm who he’s talking to; he didn’t make a mistake in any step of finding him.

★ “ It’s not even that bad. ” Would he ever admit he had been a little too careless this time around in deciding to pursue what seemed to be a vampire stalking around these parts? Of course not! It wasn’t like he had been in actual mortal danger than nearly getting a hole punctured through his lungs by those damn eye lasers! Moving just in the nick of time caused the would-be fatal wound to instead tear a small chunk off the meaty part of his bicep, painful but he’d live as far as he knew. Nevertheless it looked worse than it was, in his own opinion that is, with the rivulets of crimson staining down the built muscle of his arm. A clean rag held by his free hand provided pressure over the raw bits of exposed flesh.

All he could see were the small reflections of his own posture within those twin inky black depths of the woman’s sunglasses. Not a muscle appeared to move over her fair face but surely that unmistakable gaze of hers cut through the air like a heated knife through butter.

Stand quietly observes his user’s actions, leaning over blond’s shoulder to get a better look at the book they were reading. No pictures makes it harder for him to understand, seeing as how he doesn’t have a very good grip on English, but his user’s psychic link allows him a vague idea. Chin rests on their shoulder, head tilting as if it would help him better understand ; much resembling a curious hulking dog.

The blond shot up from his seat the moment he felt a pair of soft lips pressing against his own. It was near impossible to tell what had thrown him off the most: The sudden and unexpected kiss, or the fact that it’d come from…

“M-M-Miss Erina!?” His voice doing an amazing job at reflecting, clear as daylight, the evident shock that was painting his facial expressions. Had it been almost any other person, his reactions would have most likely ranged from a simple ‘what the hell!!’ to threats and maybe even bringing out a knife. All that was thrown out of the window the moment he realized it was Erina. He unconsciously took a small step back, completely lost as to what he should do now.

“I… You…” And, he was also at a complete loss for words, too… “I… I mean, I’m genuinely flattered by this uhm, kind gesture but… why?”
