So I'm one of the ones affected by the FIOS blackout. I tried to give TW a shot, the pilot was terrible, and I was going to try to give the next two episodes a shot to see if it got any better but that's all I was going to expose myself to. For me personally, the blackout is a blessing in disguise, because my brain doesn't need to be bleached and I refuse to go out of my way to continue watching that monstrosity. As we know, there are other ways to watch it if we really want to watch it, that can count towards interest in the show/profit, Amazon for example. So AA's claims of FIOS being the reason TW is suffering in ratings is bs.
Now, the FIOS blackout is also a curse because I was enjoying WIndy but now... I have however ordered the whole season on Amazon. That show rocks! It sucks not being able to watch it with you guys when it airs on Thursdays but at least I'm not losing the show entirely. I have yet to see episode 3 but I'm going to try to catch up this weekend. That show is amazing and strongly stands on its own.
That's the difference between the two. One has great storytelling, a diverse and talented cast, quality production value, and people working on said production who actually care about putting out a good product. The other...well...not so much lol. It's an evident cash grab. And the way things are going, there's not going to be that much to grab.
Ouch! Sorry you had to sit through any part of TW. And double-ouch that FIOS ruined your WIndy watching. I'm glad you're getting WIndy through Amazon! It's a great way to show your appreciation for a wonderful show that, like you said, people working on it truly care about. It really is a world of difference between the two.
And if you'd still like to live tweet with the fandom, here are a couple of online streaming sites to watch live:

The CW Television Network (commonly referred to as just The CW) is…
I hate to be annoying, but gaah the place where I usually watch Walker and WIndy doesn't work (i'm not in america) so I can't watch the new episodes! Anyone knows where I can?
Not annoying! If you search #international viewing, there are a number of posts where there are options for viewing internationally that my anons have helped with.
Benefits of living in Mountain Standard Time? I start Walkerverse online with the East coast feed and then as soon as that feed is over, I can immediately turn on my television and watch both shows all over again!
Oh i hate being annoying, but was it you who had links to where one can watch new episodes of Walker and WIndy?
Well, then it's a good thing you're not being annoying! LOL!
I don't really have a list of links, but I can direct you as best as I can. Obviously, if you have a VPN with US access, I believe you can watch Walker and WIndy on the CW app (which is preferred as it provides official views for the shows), but if not, you can do a Tumblr search for #International Viewing, which is the tag I used with suggestions from other international anons. Hope this helps!
Hi! Im the non US anon! Thanks soooo so soooo much for the anon who provided the website to watch WIndy and thr vpn suggestions! And thank YOU for being the unofficial Windy PR person. Much love!!
I am actually watching it. Right now. Wooooo---
I'm so glad it worked! Thank you helpful anon! (And your welcome for providing the PR links. I'm just glad to know there are people who appreciate them.)
Now, go enjoy the show!
