Yesterday was bottle cutting day and today was for sanding. After we cut wine and beer bottles on our tile saw, we sand them on our custom built lap sander. Bottles get two passes on the diamond sanding plates, once on a courser grit to knock down any rough spots and then on a second finer grit to polish and bevel the edges to a smooth finish. Then we'll fill the finished glass containers with scented soy wax.
