Name: 2005 Cusumano Sicilia Noa _________ My rating: 92 _________ My Price: $15 from @winebid, not currently available in the US online. _________ From Sicily- a blend of 40% Nero D’avola, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon , 30% Merlot. Gorgeous nose of casis, earth, dusty library books and cedar. On the palate, this was not quite as stunning as the nose, but really nice and gained depth and balance with air. Muted dark red fruit, tar, scorched earth and a bit of licorice make for an serious package. This is definitely a food wine, as strong tannins coat your mouth for a medium long finish.
