I started writing a winged!Stiles canon-divergence the other day and wanted to draw art for it. Snippet of the fic below the cut!

“Stiles.”

“Okay, no Derek, you cannot ‘Stiles’ me like this is my fault… Put your Extra Broody Eyebrows away please I’m freaking out enough as it is,” Stiles says with a slight hitch in voice at the end, giving away he really is panicking. Derek schools his features into a familiar blank mask and Stiles thanks him.

“As I was saying,” Deaton starts, looking to all the people in the room briefly, mentally noting them all giving Stiles a wide berth after they all came barging into his clinic freaking out. “Stiles isn’t in any danger… and this new… development may not be permanent, although I don’t see why they would go away unless a spell was used to do so.”

“Wings. It’s okay Doc, you can say it. I have wings and we’re all aware of how ridiculous it is,” Stiles states flatly, mouth pinched. Said wings ruffle slightly behind him, causing all the pack to look quickly at them and then away. Except for Erica who reaches out a hand tentatively. “Erica I swear if you try to touch ‘em one more time,” Stiles says through gritted teeth.

She just rolls her eyes. “Lighten up, Stilinski.”

“I have wings! I’m allowed to stress!” Everyone ignores how Stiles’ voice shoots up two octaves. Derek understands that logistically Stiles is freaking out because of added appendages, but he can’t help but admire the wings. They’re a rich brown at the top and fade to a honey color at the tips, reminding him of Stiles’ eyes.

Stiles can barely lift Derek up, usually, but adrenaline is the good stuff.

Sooo... my winged!stiles bunny has taken over my brain, and now I know what he is and what the big!bad of the story is that results in the others finding out what Stiles is and .. so.. ok, I'm writing a winged!Stiles fic now??
