i keep forgetting my wings aren't actually there, like i'll look back, and get jumped by the pure nothingness

it's even worse when i try to communicate with my wings or tail, like, it doesn't occur to me nobody actually sees this shit until after i've done it 😭

Working on making dragon gear. These horns are being a pain to make. But look at these frills I got!! :DDDD

I’m thinking about making some small wings out of wire and foam but we will see. I’ve had plans for a long time to make giant articulated feather wings but I don’t get as much dysphoria for my dragon wings so I thought maybe I could just make some lil cute ones. We’ll see if I can work out a way to make them look good. Issue is my scale color is like a iridescent copper with shades of yellow and green in it and it’s pretty much impossible to replicate :/

the more I reflect on it, the more I think I'm not a literal fallen angel

rather, I identify with the label/experience of losing my (feathered) wings and "falling" into a "human" life

in some mythos, fae are demoted angels, but I don't think that's my case, honestly

I still consider myself a (fallen) angel, but as in "avian fae" rather than as a biblical figure. I just happen to look like an angel and resonate with the word

Having several kintypes that almost mix together everyday is so odd. What do you mean that small seal has puppy ears and angel wings, and that the fox over there has deer antlers? /silly ~ 🪽
