Can other alterhumans please relate to this moment when you just want to growl at someone or something and you just physically struggle to restrain yourself. Growl or hiss or meow or any animalistic noise that wouldn't be accepted in our society. Because I cannot keep count of all the times I've fought every cell in my body not to purr or growl or hiss as an instinctive emotional reaction.
