Bonus Sketches by Hiromu Arakawa in the manga 'The Heroic Legend of Arslan' volumes 21 and 22
Quality scanned versions of the Vol. 22 bonus sketches; thanks @teresa59sblog for pointing me in the right direction!
ARAKAWA WHY.
The one on the left. That's... I mean, I both despise looking at it and am impressed by how repulsive and creepy it is, so really she did a fantastic job. I just hope she doesn't go for my jugular by doing something similar with Shapur in a future volume.
(These are the bonus sketches for the recently released Vol. 22. It's from a sales listing for a second hand copy hence the text on top, as always if I see a better quality image I'll share it.)
"Superheroes" who don't mind killing to achieve their ends can be dangerous in the wrong hands... these "no-nonsense" solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel.
