Classic Titles. Modern Wrestlers.
One night only at snme cody brings back the winged eagle
God the US title looks like shit.
Like, I like it more than the WWE, Universal, Raw Women's, Smackdown Women's, Raw Tag Team, Smackdown Tag Team, and Women's Tag Team Titles, but the bar for WWE titles is laying on the ground.
Glory for Gold
I’v noticed championship wrestling belts have changed a bit since the 80′s. Above is my personal WWF world heavy-weight championship belt that was used from 1988-98 made by Dave Millican. Now the company has taken on a more bling looking design for their belts. The current championship has much more diamonds and rubies than past designs. I prefer the simple designs that were used back then. Many people don’t understand how much time and work is spent crafting these artful belts. The belts are gold plated, hand painted and the leather is hand tooled. It takes a couple of months to complete the process for a belt like the one above. There are also few experts in this particular field of work, workloads are heavy and wait times for these belts has drastically increased since I bought mine in 2010. With my generation growing up and now having disposable incomes, championship belts like mine are a hot commodity in the wrestling world for collectors.
