TT Draws the Godzilla Gang Part 6

Welp, that covers all the daikaiju in the Godzilla gang who comes from film, which means we’re a bit more than a quarter of the way done!  Huzzah!

I was worried about the background titans from Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) because there is no good art of them I can find to use as a reference, but then I remembered that I’m taking a lot of liberties with these anyway so, y’know, fuck it let’s just have fun.

I wanted to draw these two together after seeing how much they look similar to each other design-wise!

And, suddenly, I came up with the Godzilla and Anguirus equivalent of the “fastball special.” If this hasn’t been done in an IDW Godzilla issue, it should be.

Godzilla Into Darkness

It's funny that there's been a lot of (not unwarranted) discussion of how dark the clips and screenshots from the curent digital edition and upcoming Godzilla Blu-ray are--like Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem levels of dark--and yet the following gif intended to illustrate this just showed me a detail I didn't notice in the theater:

Godzilla tail-splats the Male MUTO so hard his arm falls off!

And to think, here I originally found that a fun but disappointing defeat (especially compared to how the female goes out), when it was actually incredibly brutal.
