Chapter 50: Kill 'Em Dead

Unexpected nighttime thoughts:

The arc of the first internship and the incident with Stain.

A video of Stain's speech was shot, which then made its way in parts to the news (rather the official version from reporters) and then to the Internet (the unofficial version, shot by local resident Hosu, which was constantly uploaded to the net, but was deleted).

Since the villains know that Izuku was recognized by Stain as a True Hero, it means that the moment of rescue was filmed - anyone unworthy of Stain would not have been rescued.

Question: why did the public, who was able to watch the unofficial video, ignore this moment and the villains did not? Of course, they wouldn't have put it in the news because of censorship, but surely they can find the full version of that incident on the Net.

What's more - mom Inko didn't react to this moment in the news, at least we didn't see her reaction. Maybe she wasn't watching the news, maybe there was no Izuku moment on the news (only the three unnamed schoolchildren were mentioned), and most likely Izuku didn't tell her about hurting himself again. But.

Izuku had sent his location to ALL his contacts on his phone! Which means that Inko should have received the strange message from her son with just the coordinates, and as a worried mother (which she is), she should have a) checked the address, and b) called back and asked.

But there was no conversation between Izuku and Inko on this subject in the story, right?

And then I had a question: did Inko even get the message? Did she have time to read it? And... why did Winged Nomu fly a few blocks away and purposely grab and try to kidnap Izuku specifically? Yes, we were hinted that Nomu could have recognized Izuku and then grabbed... But Nomu flew purposefully - wounded! - several blocks to grab the boy!

What if Izuku's contacts had the number of Dad, who received this strange message with coordinates and, perhaps having some access to his wife's phone, erased the message Izuku had sent (so Inko wouldn't bother), and directed the Winged Nomu to evacuate him by a quirk of electromagnetic pulses.

Me when i think about tsubasa and his nomufication:

au where instead of the tubasa kid becoming a nomu, Izuku is used as a base for the winged nomu.  how it happennd: Izuku grabbed Katsuki as he fell off the log that day, got pulled down too, and cracked his head open on a rock. Then, izuku looks up at Katsuki dazed and asks him if he is ok as red started to color the water. The kids run with him to Tsubasa's for help, because he lives the closest and his grandpa is a doctor. When Ujiko finds out the boy is qurikless, “just what he neded for a new nomu experiment”, he doesn't treat Izuku, lets him die and lie that it was to late. Now all that is left to do is steal his corpse and bam! new nomu material! When the boy doesn’t go crazy/braindead after he got a few quirks in him,  Ujiko knew he hit the jackpot. Yeah, it will be annoying to brainwash him, but less of a hassle then programing the normal nomu. And because i am merciful, i will let Izuku keep his hair. This is also because an open brain is a stupidly open weakpoint. Izuku ends up a prototype for the high nomu, has all the baisic stuff a nomu would have, not as powerful as a high end, but more then a normal nomu. He has regen, some minor strength quirks, shock absorption, etc etc (all the baisic nomu stuff), tubasas wings, Rivet Stab, Stock and...Float, just to fuck with All Might. (we know they can copy qurks, that is why he has some them) Tomura likes this nomu more (maybe because Tomura orders him to play games with him and as Izuku is not braindead, he can actually to that) so he gave him a name, Mikumo Akatani. Tubasa survived as a vestige only because izukus consciousness protected him and he was the first one his quirk went to. All the other vestiges went insane after being transferred and split so many times and tries to destroy izuku and Tubasa, so Izuku had no choice but to destroy them. Nana drops in time to time to check on Izuku and Tubasa.

@otakunerdgirl94 and I are currently rewatching the first season of BNHA and we are currently watching the part where kid Bakugo is marching across the log and fell.

I pointed to the winged kid and said “You have wings! Why don’t you fly down there and help him?”

...

“Oh. You can’t. This is why your grandpa turned you into a nomu.”

“That’s so morbid!”

But we laugh. Hysterically.
