Been meaning to ask -do you think Aku managed to erase or alter any of Jack’s memories in Brain Battalion?

idk i like to think that since aku was defeated his magic released those memories in his effort to escape but i honestly do not know

it appears that aku’s magic does work in mysterious ways; it’s been shown that his powers seem to “drop everything” when he needs to flee (ie, the zombies, birth of evil), and that must mean also letting go of whatever his magic has a hold of at the moment but that might depend on how his magic even works??

i mean, it’s pretty obvious that aku’s powers are bordering on reality-warping, but i don’t know if he could break reality in the form of altering someone’s memories and/or deleting them. he could probably lock them away or alter them as long as his magic is concentrating on that, or if he did it long enough it might have the effect he desires

i have more hc regarding aku’s powers but i can save that for another rant :x

ok now some of my headcanons:

1. Jack isn’t ticklish. At all.

2. Aku actually has a red forked tongue and nothing can convince me otherwise

3. Jack is actually a lazy slug when it gets cold and doesn’t wake up until the sun has been up for some time except when he has work or something to get done but even then it’s done with much protesting from his body

4. Aku didn’t kill Lulu, she got away while he was busy watching the screen displaying the fight between Jack and X-9 and denial is just a river in egypt

Solid as a rock.

Now all I can see is Aku making sexy gestures as sticking out his tounge. “Hiisssss” Heh. his face has always looked like a combination of frog and tiger/panther to me. Pretty sure his overall appearance is a sort of combination of all the animals he’s seen on earth.

The sun comes up. Scotsman sits up and stretches. yawns. Looks across the campfire to see his buddy still curled up in a ball. Goes and sits over by him and starts shaking him by the shoulder.

“Oy. Get up.”

Jack (groggily): “We were up 3 hours ago fighting that hydra. Just…give me a minute.”

Scotsman (stares at him for a moment, then claps both hands together. Jokeingly and in a high pitched voice): “Oh Jackie! Yer so heroic. I’m the girl of your dream and I just want to be with ya always.”

Jack (still asleep): “Mmmmm.” >:(

Scotsman (Tries to give him a wet Willy)

Jack (Hat is beside him, blocks it by putting over the side of his head)

Scotman (flicks the hat off. Stares at him for a moment. Gets up)

*Peace and quiet.*

*Bagpipe music.*

Jack: I AM AWAKE.

Yay. Maybe Lulu and the blue bear found eath other and are friends now. :3

How did Jack’s blood get in the DNA system? Pretty sure he gets nicked/scarred a lot more that we get to see. In fact, he gets cuts all over his body in the Ultra bots episode, and I’m pretty sure those were bleeding all over the battle field. They just looked clean because of the clean nature/style of the series. A hazmat team was probably sent out after the fact to collect the data. Whether or not the cleanup crew was sent by Aku, or just someone who knew having a DNA sample would make it easier to find him? Eh. IDK.

What I do know is, future-fantasy writers are still fond of their futuristic “DNA-search plot devices”, even though we already have that tec nowadays. :P

Does Aku go in after Jack and recapture the people Jack has saved/freed? IDK. It would make sense for Aku to do this, but it never came up in the series. Makes Aku seem really lazy.  This is defiantly something I want to explore in fanfiction someday. –Maybe write about an A team of evil that goes out and reclaims rebel villages in the name of Aku? Bonus plot: The team has difficulty completing their task because Jack trained one (or more) of the villages how to defend themselves in much the same way he taught the monkeys how to fend off the gorillas.

All but the one Jack snagged got lost/buried in the mud of the swap, and Aku hasn’t had a reason to dig them up yet.

If the second point is true, then it’s disappeared into the holder of hammerspace that is Jack’s robe, and he’s retaining it to see if he can to make use of its magical properties.

I just…can you imagine a kid coming home from school to find their youngest sibling playing a round of Mario carts against the most renown warrior on the planet??? 8D

Heh. I’ve always liked to think that he’s 6 feet tall, but I think the SJ wiki has him at 5’3” Also, a katana is generally around 2 feet long, so in the reference sheet, he looks to be about 5 feet tall…maybe 5’5”?

Yeah, that makes sense; i can see aku getting his dna from a battle or something. ultra-robots would make the most sense.

i think he leaves them alone bc he has bigger problems right now— namely, Jack. XDD

As you say, the world probably wouldn’t look much different from our own (Unless Aku did some major terraforming). I recommend doing an image search for “Lights from space.” It might help you figure out where to place the Aku cities on each land mass. For example, the USA portion of the American continent might have lots of Aku cities clustered on the east half of the country, wild country in the middle (with a few scattered towns and villages here and there), and a ribbon of cities running along the west coast.

There’s a canon map of the Aku world floating out there? Huh. I would love to see that myself.
