Don't think about the fact that AP dedicated the first three Wingfeather books to people he loves dearly (his brother, his wife, his kids) and then went and dedicated the fourth one to us, his readers.

DON'T think about the fact that the whole series ends on a question, "Are you coming?" like it's an invitation for us to join in the resurrection that we imagine happens after the last page, an invitation into the restoration of all things.

Seriously, just don't think about The Wingfeather Saga unless you want to cry. 😭😭😭

I have a Wingfeather sticker (from the show) on the cup I bring to work sometimes. The operator of my store was walking by the employee drink table a few weeks ago and picked it up, asking “Who’s cup is this?” When I told him it was mine, he asked if I liked the show and said he’d seen it. I told him the show is good but that I loved the books. All while thinking how strange but awesome it is that Wingfeather has broken the containment of indie Christian fiction that only certain brands of people have read, to my 50 year old male boss knowing what it is..

It’s the Wingfeather Boys! I drew this ages ago, back in 2020, while listening to Andrew Peterson read On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness aloud over livestream. Incredible to think about how far the animated series has come since then!
