Beetle #helm in progress. This is our prototype piece using an oiled leather. As I near completion, I think a milled veg-tan or something a bit thicker (if still stone oiled) would suit the project better. I may reshape the flare of the scales so the final piece will have less of a "tail" and be smoother when assembled. A stitch line, four rivets and cord until done. #armour #leather #winglithium
