With this simple air fryer recipe, you can make wings that taste like they came from Hooters at home. The wings are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the spicy and sour sauce goes well with them.
Ingredients: 12 chicken wings. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 1/2 cup hot sauce such as Frank's RedHot. 1 tablespoon honey. 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
Instructions: Preheat the air fryer to 380F 190C. In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Dredge chicken wings in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don't overlap. Cook the wings in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. While the wings are cooking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in hot sauce, honey, and garlic powder, and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot sauce mixture over them. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the sauce. Serve immediately, and enjoy!
