I'm seeing Kate as a way for him to sort of move on from Paige, but I was a bit disappointed with that story-line to be honest because I always (I don't wanna say liked), but appreciated that Kate was Derek's real first "love", and that's why it was so easy for her to manipulate him

But yeah if he's asked about it and says something like "Isn't it obvious?" then I will lose my freaking mind
