July Color Palette

@color-palettes monthly challenges have been so much fun.

Starting a series of hollow knight landscape art. I'm going to take a booth at a small local cosplay con next spring, alongside my sister, so I'm trying to figure out what art I can sell besides my crochet stuff lol.

Hollow Knight and Silksong are big right now, and they're absolutely gorgeous games. So I think landscape art from them will go over pretty well. I like doing fantasy landscape paintings.

I haven't started playing Silksong yet because I still haven't finished Hollow Knight lol. I am not very good at all the platforming and the boss fights are also difficult for me. But I'm getting there! After like 5 years of playing, I have finally made it to the last bits of Hollow Knight's story. Just gotta do the white palace (ignoring the Path of Pain) to get one last important item, and then I can attempt and inevitably fail the final battle.

And then when I'm tired of the final boss kicking my butt, I'll start Silksong and let that game kick my butt instead XD

If anyone has suggestions for Silksong landscapes, lemme know! I know the Hollow Knight map really well, and there's a great full detail map online I've bene using for art references, but Silksong is too new to have that detailed online map yet and I don't know its areas well enough to just look up good screenshots.
