I don't usually follow rps but @winksmythe's blog popped up on my suggestion list the other day and I am ENTHRALLED by how well they're capturing Sebastian's character. Such witty and refreshing dialogue so interesting to read. Especially their Huntbastian with @winkclarington thus far!! I'll definitely be keeping tabs on this rp.
One last check in the window around the corner from the bar. An unruly curl was pushed out of his face only to fall back the second his hand dropped back down earned a roll of his eyes and Davlin, finally, caving in to let it there. The tail lights of his Uber disappeared almost as soon as his the soles of his shoes hit the ground. Puckered lips blew out a breath when he tossed it a wave of thanks (as if the driver ever cared to look back, even after the tip he gave him--places to go, more money to make, all that jazz) and stepped around the corner to take in the place up close. The dull thump of the music drew a brow up. Obviously the party was already in swing.
Hearing the music muffled through the walls was one thing. But it poured out of the door as he pulled it open and ducked past a couple of guys after showing his ID and couldn’t help himself when a particular set of legs drew his attention back over his shoulder for a more in depth glance. God. Thighs like that should be illegal. Blinking out of the stupor they slammed him into, Davlin shouldered his way through the crowd. Clothed and unclothed--who was keeping track? His attention and gaze was solely focused on one place in particular once it came into view past the sea of people dancing and drinking.
The bar. More.. The face he recognized from the picture he saw on his phone behind the bar. Whatever kind of phone Sebastian had? He needed to slap it in the face. Because it wasn’t doing him a damn bit of justice. Holy shit he was prettier than pretty. Lucking out did not cover what the solid Wink did him was. Damn... Tall too. And Davlin considered lighting a candle for the person who invented the app that landed him here tonight.
Waiting until Sebastian was free enough to get his attention, Davlin eased himself up onto a seat close by enough to make it convenient for him to come over. But not so close that it screamed ‘pay attention to me now!’. Underwear Night was now his newly official favorite day of the week. Bright eyes lit up the moment he was noticed. A lopsided, easy going grin that was all him followed a blink later as heels hooked on the rung of his stool.
