new year’s ⇆ hunter & sebastian
winksmythe:
Sebastian did his best to keep in mind that Hunter’s comment about his shirt coming off wasn’t any sort of invitation. The thought of some other man pressed up against Hunter once his shirt was gone was almost too much to bear, so Sebastian did his best to push it out of mind, not wanting to think about how his friend would be spending the rest of his night, or who he’d be spending it with. “I wouldn’t hate to see that,” he said despite himself, his eyes drifting over Hunter’s body again before he forced himself to look him in the eyes again, knowing that he needed to be a little less obvious considering Daniel was sitting right next to him.
At Hunter’s question, Sebastian figured he should do his best to show that he wasn’t having such a horrible night despite them not coming here together. He wasn’t looking to make Hunter jealous, but he also didn’t want it to come across as if he was desperate to go home with him or that he wasn’t happy with Daniel, even if he would much rather prefer to end up in Hunter’s bed.
“I can’t complain,” he replied as he not-so-subtly moved to rest his arms on the table, only so Hunter could see the new, shiny watch on his wrist, a pleased smirk on his lips as he winked at his friend. As if a new watch was worth giving up a night of being with Hunter. He definitely enjoyed all of the gifts Daniel bought for him, not to mention the money he transferred into his account for all of their dates. If he was being honest, the sex wasn’t horrible either considering how good his sugar daddy was with his hands, but their conversations left much to be desired. With Hunter, Sebastian found himself enjoying all of the conversations they had between orgasms, and he felt like an idiot for smiling so much whenever he got a text from the other man, and he couldn’t say that he got that same feeling whenever Daniel reached out to contact him outside of their scheduled dates. But again, he wasn’t about to let Hunter know that, not when he’d made it very clear that he had no interest in pushing their relationship to anything past what it already was.
“I hope your night wasn’t too boring before I showed up,” he teased, doing his best to ignore the hand that Hunter still had on his lower back. Hunter’s friends were doing an unknowingly good job of keeping Daniel distracted, but Sebastian knew he was going to be thinking about how Hunter’s hand had felt on him all night, even after he’d parted ways and Sebastian was alone with his actual date.

A small smile pulled up Hunter’s lips at Sebastian’s reply. “I bet you wouldn’t.” Hunter always grew hot in nightclubs; there were far too many people squashed together, he didn’t know how everyone wasn’t sweating by the end of the night. He didn’t know how long Sebastian and Daniel were going to stay, but Hunter would have to make sure to take his shirt off before Sebastian left, just to give him a taste of what he was missing out on tonight. Hunter wished he could take Sebastian’s to his bed to ring in the New Year, but he would just have to make sure their next time together was that much more enjoyable for his friend.
As Sebastian changed his position, Hunter’s gaze landed on the watch on his friend’s wrist, a watch that Daniel most likely bought for him. Not only did Sebastian not want a relationship with him, Hunter also wasn’t capable of spoiling him with lavish gifts. Hunter did well for himself and he always had enough money for anything he personally needed or wanted, but he certainly did not have enough in his bank account for a Rolex. It was beautiful, though. Steel with yellow gold and a black face. “It suits you well,” Hunter said, low enough for just Sebastian to hear, making it obvious he was talking about his watch as his gaze lingered on it longer than he intended before looking back up at Sebastian’s face. He loved being around Sebastian, but it was honestly so disappointing to know they would be nothing more than friends who had sex.
“I was doing just fine, but I am happy to see you,” Hunter replied honestly, his gaze dropping to Sebastian’s lips for a quick moment. They never kissed in public before, and maybe it was the alcohol talking, but Hunter would give anything to stick his tongue down Sebastian’s throat.
Hunter then joined in on the conversation between his friends and Daniel, just so it didn’t look too suspicious that he and Sebastian were having their own conversation by themselves on the side. He already knew his friends were going to tease him later, which he rightly deserved. Hunter had never been infatuated with someone before and while he didn’t tell his friends quite everything, they knew Hunter liked Sebastian much more than just for hookups.
“Do you need a drink?” Hunter asked, turning his attention back to Sebastian, with his fingers slowly dipping into his friend’s jeans as far as he could go considering how tight they were. He would rather grab Sebastian’s ass, but he would settle knowing how close his fingertips were to his cheek instead. If Daniel wasn’t there, Hunter was positive that he and Sebastian would at least be making out in the bathroom by now.
