My (boring) RhoGAM Injection Experience
I got my (28 week) RhoGAM injection last night. It wasn’t what I expected at all.
First of all, it wasn’t a huge shot in my butt cheek (like I’ve read). It was a small/normal size needle, and it was injected into my arm.
It honestly didn’t hurt (not even a little bit). My arm got that tingly/falling asleep feeling a few minutes afterwards, but it went away after a short time. The doctor made me sit in the waiting room for 15 minutes, while Tyler monitored me, to make sure I didn’t have an adverse reaction. Then I was happily on my way home.
The injection didn’t cause me to become moody or achey (as I’d been warned of). Of course everyone is different and can have different reactions to injections, but for me this one was a walk in the park.
